“We have been visiting this hotel for the last 4 years during the first weekend in December. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious. It is a few blocks from King street, which is quite convenient because the first weekend is December is busy with the Scottish Rite Parade so downtown can be busy and hard to navigate before the parade is over. "This is an awesome hotel in a great location! It’s conveniently situated near all the stops for the free Old Town DASH buses. Several of restaurants are within walking distance, and a Harris Teeter grocery store is right across the street. The room featured a great layout, and the sofa bed was very comfortable. However, the room did have a noticeable damp smell. Also, the walls are a bit thin; you could hear the next-door neighbors when they were being loud. Despite the minor room issues, the friendly and responsive customer service and the prime location more than made up for them. The on-site hotel garage was decent and well-lit. At $32 for every 24 hours, it was also relatively inexpensive, though it does not offer in-and-out privileges. We were initially overcharged for parking, but Cynthia responded back promptly with a resolution. We will definitely choose this hotel again if we return to the area"

View on Google"The hotel thinks of everything! It was likely evident from the stray dog or cat hair on my clothes that I am a pet owner. I was fortunate to have a small furry roommate in my hotel room so I would not be lonely. In fact, in universal mouse language, I likely invited my new friend to a CNN watch party by dropping a piece of popcorn. Continuing to communicate in universal mouse language, I let the mouse know it was a private watch party. My neighbors may describe my mouse language as, "squealing like a small child," but the mouse understood and fled to the bedroom area. The staff at the hotel were excellent and moved me to another room. The rooms are terrific, service is terrific, and the views are terrific. My visitor was likely the result of the cold snap rather than either increased National Guard or ICE activity. In all seriousness, this is my favorite hotel in the area, and I plan to return."
