What Guests Are Saying
“OVERALL I stayed for almost 2 weeks for business and loved every day I was here. I felt safe and comfortable, and the location is near a convenient area of Niles. The hotel appears cozy and has personality. The staff were kind and treated me like they knew me. Each staff member was polite and respectful and greeted me by name after speaking to them once. I’m big on cleanliness in a hotel, and this place was incredibly well kept! Even the emergency stairwells were perfectly clean. It was clear the staff and management took pride in upkeep. The maintenance man was kind enough to clean cars off one morning when it snowed. I was here for almost 2 weeks for business and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful each night. One night, I had temporarily lost my purse! Nicholas at the front desk took the time to check cameras (without me asking him to do so) to see if I had brought it in. Being able to narrow it down was incredibly helpful! ROOM Across the two weeks I was in two different rooms. My first room was spotless! The bed had a white quilt and it was pristine. The sheets and pillows were super soft. The second room was L-shaped and much larger. It had minor cleanliness issues (big boogers on the curtains next to the bed), but to be honest I don’t blame the staff for not noticing someone was inhuman enough to blow their nose in the curtains — who ever did that: you gross. BATHROOM Typically, slightly older hotels like this tend to let their bathrooms go first, you know? That was not the case here. The shower head was older but zero signs of grime or buildup. The tub was spotless. There were no stains, spots, hair, signs of use, etc. and it smelled chemically clean. AMENITIES Breakfast: I went down for breakfast and was greeted immediately every single day. The kitchen manager noted I was looking for something specific and they immediately stated that they could make it for me if I had time. (I definitely made time!) The breakfast area was better stocked than bigger name hotels and was an adorable area that looked like a full blown restaurant. It reminded me of a hotel in Tokyo that had daily custom, cozy breakfasts. The kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. For someone who as 2 weeks away from home, this made me look forward to starting my day every day. Thank you! Other Amenities: Daily evening snacks (popcorn, cookies, and ice cream when I was there) Pool and hot tub were beautiful! The hot tub area has a fountain and tons of lovely plants that make it feel less sterile. After working all day in an unfamiliar city, it was nice to relax in the clean and chill hot tub. Very rarely was the interrupted by other guests. Outdoor patio and koi pond. Fitness center is tiny, but clean with towels and water. There is a Planet Fitness 2 minutes away if you need a bigger location. As soon as I got back to work I immediately recommended this hotel for future stays for my company and I hope they send me here again next year!” — JLHT, 5 stars
“My husband and I have been travelling for 2 weeks and have been staying at numerous holiday inns. This is by far the BEST one (all other holiday inns should come here for training to see how it’s done) -Perfect location (many restaurants near by) -Quiet -Very friendly and helpful staff -Extra touches like flowers and and seasonal decorations - VERY clean (I own a bnb so this is important to me) - microwave and fridge with freezer in room - Instructions clearly stated - breakfast very good with more choices than average Holiday Inn - beds very comfortable and sheets very soft (can’t comment on pillows as we always bring our own) - rooms large - gorgeous back patio” — CJTravels_12, 5 stars
“Thank you to eveyone at the HIE Niles Ohio from the bottom of my heart! We were there for our father’s funeral - and everyone from out of town stayed. You allowed us a lot of space to gather and grieve - and we truly appreciate it. The late check outs for famiily who had late flights out of CLE were also greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and compassion during a most difficult time. You all went above & beyond - and that difficult to find these days. Please thank Tracy, Chris and I am sorry - I have forgotten her name - but the very sweet lady who takes care of breakfast. We are grateful!” — Kelly R., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Holiday Inn Express & Suites Youngstown N.
"Five stars all the way! When I booked my room I let them know I wanted to see if I could be in a quieter area as I have a son with autism. They accommodated us without question. While staying there the staff were very attentive. One of our nephews was waiting in the lobby, to be picked up to go to bowling and the staff checked with us to make sure he was alright as he was picked up by someone we knew. Anytime we come back to the area, as we have moved from the area, we will always stay here. Close to everything and with attentive staff, cleanliness, and amenities you can't beat it! Thank you again for an amazing stay!"

View on Google"The staff truly went above and beyond in several instances. Nicolas made a complicated five room transaction easy. And the property experienced a power outage in the middle of the night, and power was not restored until after 6 am. But as soon as power was restored, the staff swung into action to provide us with a hot breakfast in time for us to eat at a reasonable pace and catch our 715 am shuttle. I've stayed countless nights in hotels, this was a really extraordinary experience. Thank you for hiring and training such dedicated people."
