What Guests Are Saying
“My husband and I recently stayed two nights at Inn Walden. Our plan was to do multiple hikes in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This worked well as the park is only about 20 minutes from Inn Walden. We loved the Inn. Check-in with Joan was quick and she provided all the important details for a comfortable stay. We were in a loft room which was somehow cozy and incredibly spacious at the same time. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had all the space we needed—a table and chairs (breakfast was included with our room and we took advantage of room service both mornings—a real treat!); sitting area with TV, two bathrooms (one powder and one with shower), a huge bathtub, vanity and walk-in closet. The highlight was the fireplace, which is centrally located in the room so you can enjoy it no matter where you decide to sit. We really enjoyed all the meals we had on property, which included the two room service breakfasts, one room service dinner, and dinner at The Barn. All these meals were delicious and of high quality. The staff provided many “extras” during our stay—a bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, muffins with breakfast. So nice to receive unexpected treats—we loved it. We look forward to visiting again!” — sabadami, 5 stars
“On the outskirts of the small town of Aurora south of Cleveland, this resort welcomes you to the countryside. The welcome is pleasant, the rooms are gigantic, ours had a jacuzzi and a small terrace. Many attentions are included in your stay: Aperitif offered every evening, room prepared every evening with lit candles. The resort’s restaurants are far from the rooms but a shuttle is at your disposal without any waiting. The spa, on the hotel site, is made up of superb massage rooms, each with a jacuzzi. The massage session includes half an hour in the jacuzzi and/or hammam. A wonderful stay in this relaxing place where everything is done to make guests feel good.” — fredolois, 5 stars
“We recently returned from a weeklong stay at Walden and we were absolutely blown away! The property is meticulous and the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. From chocolates in the evening to fresh muffins in the morning, we felt so at home. The rooms are spacious yet cozy with beautiful upgrades. I received a message in their world-class spa and it was definitely one of the best, most relaxing that I’ve ever experienced. A special thanks to Lizzie who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special and unique. She is incredible and the Walden is fortunate to have her. We can’t wait to return again next year!” — snoflake117, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Inn Walden.
"We stayed a weekend at the Inn at Walden in what was considered the “least expensive” room, and it was truly a dream. The grounds and the building itself are stunning—immaculately clean and decorated with so much care and beauty. Dining was a highlight: The Barn restaurant was incredible, and we also loved eating at the Clubhouse. The nightly turndown service with wine and chocolate-covered strawberries was such a thoughtful, luxurious touch. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay even more special. The only small thing we would change is that our room had many windows with only sheer curtains, so it was very bright in the morning. Blackout curtains would have been nice for sleeping in (even if they aren’t as pretty!). Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience, and we can’t wait to return."

View on Google"My husband and I recently spent our wedding night at Walden Inn and it was nothing short of a completely magical experience! We started our stay out with a couples massage with Chrissy and Andrew. The spa suite was like nothing we had ever seen- a hot tub, shower for 2, and complementary champagne. My husband and I both loved our massages. Chrissy was my therapist and her pressure and technique were amazing. When we checked into the Inn, we were greeted with bright and smiling faces congratulating us on our big day. We stayed in the Bridle suite, which was lovely and well worth the price. The hotel staff shuttled us to and from dinner at the Barn, which was just perfect for our wedding day dinner for two. The most impressive part of our experience was the turndown service done while we were at dinner. We came back to our suite to find romantic tea lights strategically placed around the room and romantic in suite hot tub, a complementary bottle of champagne, and two delicious chocolate covered strawberries. I cannot imagine any other establishment making our day as perfect as the Walden Inn, Spa, and the Barn did. The staff and facilities exceeded our expectations in every way possible. They take such good care of their guests. We plan on returning every year for our anniversary as long as we can. Thank you, Walden!!"

All of the staff were so welcoming and thorough in showing us around since this was our first time. The spa is incredible and the signature massages left us feeling so relaxed. We stayed in the pyramid suite which was very large. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and the jacuzzi tub was the perfect way to relax. The whole atmosphere of Walden is serene and romantic, we plan on making this an annual tradition and can’t wait to come back!"
