What Guests Are Saying

“The Wallhouse staff works hard to make the guest feel valued, trying to meet any need or want possible. It checks all the boxes for a clean, safe, comfortable, and modern stay in this area- close to all the places we go while in the area. This was our 2nd stay here (getting the same Room 306 actually- a King Countryside view with Balcony). It’s quiet, and around the corner from elevator and ice machine area. All the hotel is well-kept with friendly employees. Check-in Staff member Margaret recognized us in a special way for our 53rd wedding anniversary also, much appreciated. We forgot to check the key card envelope for the breakfast time and missed it on this Sunday morning check-out day. Check-out is at noon, but Breakfast ended at 10am. Disappointed not to get to enjoy the same fine breakfast there as we did the 1st visit there. But we are the one that didn’t check the time it was offered. We’ll remember where to find the breakfast hours next time. The king bed is super comfortable, as are the 2 nice recliners in this room. The room also offered the coffeemaker, fridge, microwave, a little breakfast bar area with 2-stools, ironing board/iron, balcony, nice view, room darkening window coverings, and a very nice walk-in shower. If I could improve something it would’ve been nice to have at least 1 smaller light in the main area of the room and by the bed- the only lighting in the room are all overhead lights which are bright and harsh. The bed area lighting are 4 small can ceiling lights that are dimmable but directly over the pillow areas. I would also like to see 2 small seating options to use on the little balconies in the nicer weather- right now it’s only a small balcony with railing, with room for a couple of smaller chairs, but none are available. It would be peaceful to be able to sit there in the future. I appreciate the electronic tipping system for the staff, so we don’t have to wonder if the right person actually got the cash left as tips in the room or to have to make sure we have the right bills for the tip. To the staff- whatever your duties are at the Wallhouse, your efforts were noticed and appreciated. Keep up the good work. We hope to see you again when we have reason to be in the area.” — OH I., 5 stars

“We had the absolute best experience while staying here! It was very well maintained ! The rooms were spacious and had plenty of amenities! The breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of options! Andy who worked at this location went above and beyond being hospitable to my family and two young’s girls! He offered them cookies which they loved! We will definitely be back!” — Danielle D., 5 stars

“Our hotel of choice when we go to Amish country! The rooms are very nice and clean and the staff treats you like family. The location is in the middle of everything we like to see and do. We love staying here!” — Ruth B., 5 stars

"I come once a week on business, and I always look forward to my stay there. Margaret, Amy, Heather, and Kallie not only provide over the top hospitality but you start to feel like family. They provide exceptional meals on Tuesday nights at no extra cost, rooms are all clean and nice, pool, hot tub, fitness center, and rooms are peaceful and quiet. If you are gonna stay in the Walnut Creek area and don’t stay here you are missing out."

"Honest review alert! Service review 5 stars! Stayed at this location for almost a week for a work trip and honestly the customer service was absolutely amazing and welcoming. I had the do not disturb sign on the door the whole stay and they never cleaned the room (as expected) but the did leave a nice replenish bag hanging on the door! I thought that was a nice courtesy of them! Room review 4 stars, I stayed in a single king bed room and I have to say overall the room was nice and clean on arrival. Had two recliners in the room as well. The fridge was cold and microwave worked decent for the size. The blinds worked amazing and blocked a lot of the morning sunlight and matched with their comfortable bed and warm blankets it makes it hard to get up in the morning, and I say that in a good way. The heater/AC worked great as well and wasn't too noisy like some can be. The only downside to the room was it had a slight smell of dog. It wasn't horrible but if you don't have pets it it would probably be an issue but matched with the Amazing staff im sure they would find you another room if it was a issue for you! As for the hotel itself the parking is decent and close to the building. Hottub and pool were also pretty decent have the kids burn some energy or relax in the hottub. Take not its not a jacuzzi hottub so no bubbles but OK jets. The lobby area and where they have breakfast was always cleaned! Location review 4stars, Finding the hotel was easy and simple only downside is you are in Amish country so with that being said a lot of places are closed on Sunday and close early mon-sat. Most places close around 8pm-9pm. The main reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because you do have to drive quite often 15-30 minutes to get food. Overall 4 out of 5 for the whole review. I would recommend this hotel based off the staff alone! It was a solid stay and would be my first choice of hotels if I ever visit again!!"
