About The Hotel

The Comfort Suites Troy-I75 is a 4.2-star, 218-review property that consistently earns praise for cleanliness, room size, and value. It is an all-suite hotel just off I-75 on Troy’s north edge, near the courthouse square and the Great Miami River Trail. Guests rave about the spacious rooms, the free breakfast, and the spotless maintenance. However, the hotel’s hot tub is permanently closed, so it is strictly a pool-only stay. Guests who booked expecting a hot tub based on older photos are often disappointed — this is a real limitation you should know upfront. For families, road-trippers, and anyone who wants a clean, budget-friendly suite near a charming small town, it is an excellent choice. For a hot tub or in-room jacuzzi, look elsewhere.

What Guests Are Saying

“Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a king deluxe room and it had a lot of space. We thought there was a hot tub as some pictures showed, but they must have closed their hot tub permanently. The pool was nice size and the water temperature was good. Would stay here again.” — Chelly0225, 5 stars

“Beautiful hotel. The hot tub wasn’t open which bummed me out a little bit, but the pool is heated and the hotel is just so up to date and nice. Breakfast was odd because of Covid. The bed was very comfortable.” — Lindzchey, 5 stars

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Spotless, spacious all-suite rooms with high cleanliness scores (4.7/5)
  • Heated indoor pool and free hot breakfast — strong amenities for the price
  • Perfect I-75 location for road-trippers and families traveling on the highway
  • Kids stay free and rates are budget-friendly ($89–$108/night)
  • Well-run, reliable hotel with strong guest satisfaction and repeat visits

Cons:

  • The hot tub is permanently closed — it is pool-only with no jacuzzi or in-room spa
  • Located on a highway edge rather than in the scenic heart of town — you will need a car to explore
  • No on-site dining — breakfast is free but you will need to drive for lunch and dinner

"We were very impressed with our stay at the Comfort Suites in Troy! We were in town for a funeral and our baby still needs naps in the morning and afternoon. I called the hotel to ask if they had early check. The receptionist was extremely friendly and accommodating. She was able to reserve us a room in a quiet area with a 10:30AM check-in at no extra cost! We paid when we arrived. The front desk, room cleaning staff, and breakfast attendant were all very kind and friendly to our baby too. The facility was beautiful and the pool looked great (though we didn't have time to use it). Our room was comfortable and spacious, though I would recommend that the staff sweep under the couches and clean the bathroom a little more thoroughly. The hotel was directly across from a Texas Road House and Walmart, and just a short drive to many other restaurants (including Chick-fil-A - our favorite). The provided breakfast was great - eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, waffles, etc. We highly recommend staying here."

"Excellent value. Not a cheap hotel, but not overly pricey and nicer than I expected for what I paid. Fitness center was satisfactory and the breakfast was pretty good. Room quality was 5 of 5. Location right off I-75 was ideal."

"Staying here for a work trip. Hotel is clean and room is nice. Pool is great. I have another work trip in two weeks and I’ll probably book this hotel for then as well. So far everyone has been friendly. I haven’t really needed to ask for anything except a sheet for the fold out couch."
