What Guests Are Saying
“We booked three nights to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. This was our first stay at Welsh Hills Inn, but it won’t be our last. We already miss the calm peaceful atmosphere, the quiet secluded Brynmor suite, the awesome people, and THE FOOD. Jeff absolutely knows his way around the kitchen. This was also our first visit to Granville. We really enjoyed the town. Harvest Pizza was one of our favorite places to eat. We brought pizza back to the Inn and ate on the wrap-around porch while we watched the deer in the field. We visited the local Farmers Market as well as a craft market the was held at a nearby fruit farm. The highlight of our stay was the candlelight dinner that Bobbi and Jeff set up for us on the porch. Jeff made us a steak with a port-wine reduction that was out of this world. We thought he couldn’t top the amazing breakfasts he made each morning … But that dinner was impressive. I can’t post a review without mentioning Bobbi. I don’t know how she did it, but Bobbi was everywhere … Doing everything. She created such a welcoming energy and immediately addressed any concerns we might have had. It only took minutes after arriving before we felt at right at home and that was all thanks to Bobbi. We have stayed at many B&B’s and we prefer to stay at Select Registry properties. The Welsh Hills Inn didn’t disappoint … We’ll be back.” — Vincent L., 5 stars

“This isn’t the first time my wife and I have been here and it certainly won’t be the last. From the Welsh Hills Inn sitting on the perfect location: a hill overlooking the beautiful forested landscape to outstanding service provided to us by the owners: Bobbi and Jeff, never have I felt more relaxed and at home in a place that wasn’t actually where I live. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Such a nice, quiet, comfy, little place away from it all. Our room was the same one we got last time which we were hoping to get and it was just as calming and clean and beautiful as it was before. I highly recommend ordering the candle lit dinner. Jeff’s breakfasts every morning are so delicious themselves, and yet he absolutely outdid himself for our anniversary dinner. That was the most amazing steak dinner I have ever eaten and can’t wait to eat again! Thank you, Bobbi and Jeff for having such a marvelous place to escape to.” — Derek, 5 stars

View on Google"We recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Welsh Hills. It was (as always) an impeccably relaxing, romantic, and rejuvenating experience. Jeff and Bobbi are truly perfect hosts, real people who want nothing more than to provide the best experience for their guests. Bobbi is always remembering little details about returning guests and is ready to share stories of the art, artists, and local vendors. She never stops moving- caring for her guests and keeping the rooms and surroundings in amazing shape! Jeff is a chef among the best! A different and delightful breakfast was served fresh each morning, and this year we even treated ourselves to one of Jeff's fine dinner experiences (served on the porch with a backdrop of nature). Massages, yoga, fishing and clay pigeon shooting are among the activities guests can take advantage of. The inn is a quick drive to fun little stops in Granville and Newark. And when you're ready for more top notch relaxation, you'll be ushered back in by the Inn's furry ambassadors Wrigley and Dakota. A stay at Welsh Hills will never disappoint. The tagline rejuvenation redefined is no joke! We're already looking to book our next stay."
