What Guests Are Saying
“WOW! Hotels in Delaware, Ohio are always hit or miss… Except for the Pacer! I love mom and pops/small business because their standards are usually much higher. The rooms are spacious, clean, updated, and well taken care of. The staff goes above and beyond when they can, so kind, and I almost always find someone who is cleaning. The hotel might just be basic, but that’s all you really need, everything else is just luxury. My only negatives are the outside (not landscaping) needs a retouch to make it more welcoming; some (not all) of the rooms have toilets too close to the wall, but it’s still usable; and some (not all) have paper-thin walls but I usually pop in some earbuds and it’s good. I love this place!! Don’t trust any of their competitors anymore.” — Sandy, 5 stars
“This place was as nearly perfect as could be. I walked in without a reservation and was checked in quickly and very pleasantly for one night. The room was just right for me, well laid out, very clean and fresh, and provided everything I needed including WiFi that worked well. Price was very reasonable. This is a large privately-owned facility that is extremely well done. It is located close to town, the center of which is the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University, so there are numerous small eateries and shops.” — Road W., 5 stars
“As a female road warrior-business traveler, I stay at all the “big name” hotels here and there, and the Pacer Inn is by far my favorite. The entire place is clean, clean, clean (my number one priority!), beds are comfortable, ample pillows, towels and amenities, (pictures don’t do it justice), rooms are expansive with tall vaulted ceilings, area feels safe, close to many restaurants, and the owners are absolutely incredible, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!” — TJones, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Pacer Inn And Suites.
"I’ve stayed at places from $30/night airbnbs to $300/night resorts. This “motel” is the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in. I paid for the deluxe room and I LOVED it. The rooms were spotless and clean. The rooms had taller than average ceilings with Amish like designs (roof only). The motel had warm and friendly staff. The motel is within 2 minutes walking distance of a delicious Mexican restaurant. They had 2 sinks in my deluxe room with a door in between so people could use the bathroom and someone else could wash their face. The beds are firm by hotel standards, the AC worked fine. The area wasn’t a bad area. I thought the place was wonderful. There’s real care with this property."

View on Google"I was both skeptical about, and intrigued by, all the fantastic review of this place, so decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! The description and photos on the website are 100% correct; no surprises. The exterior and grounds are perhaps the most meticulously cared for and maintained I've ever seen; I'm pretty fussy, and couldn't find anything that needed to be done. I was thinking about how I would describe the Pacer motel, and I came up with: Everything you need for a pleasant stay, and nothing you don't need (meaning no "extras" that most people don't use, and that means savings for guests who stay here). A small motel (34 rooms?) that's well worth a visit."

View on Google"Friendly staff, clean well-maintained room, very affordable. We weren't looking for anything fancy. Excellent value for the price. The bed itself, the thing that mattered most, was several steps nicer than I anticipated, with spotless white fluffy comforter and good pillows. I woke up well-rested. Our double queen room also had two sinks, one in the bathroom itself and the other just outside it. With three of us, this made things easier getting ready in the morning. I don't know if this layout is in every room, or just in the front building where we were, so ask if you're counting on it. We weren't expecting a full breakfast bar, but appreciated being able to grab a few wrapped pastries from the grab and go they have in the lobby. We did not have pets with us, but I noted they are pet-friendly. We're also pretty obviously queer, with trans folks in our group, and we felt comfortable and welcome."
