About The Hotel

The Quality Inn & Suites Columbus West in Hilliard (3.8 rating, 99 reviews) is a budget motel on Westbelt Drive with one genuine two-person in-room hot tub — a rare low-cost alternative to the Best Western Suites. Free breakfast, free parking, and a fitness center round out the basics. However, candid reviews are honest about its limitations: vehicle break-ins in the lot, cleanliness concerns (shabby upholstery, old carpet), billing and cancellation disputes, and overall dated motel aesthetics. One guest review explicitly confirms the hot tub as a single room amenity, not a property feature. The 3.8 rating on limited reviews (99 total) suggests fewer bookings. It’s a practical budget base only for travelers with eyes wide open to the reviews — read recent feedback and confirm the hot-tub room directly before committing.

What Guests Are Saying

“This is a place where you get what you pay for. Having a Waffle House within walking distance is a plus. Note that the listing for a hot tub refers to one room equipped with a two-person hot tub. Upholstery of the chairs in my room was pretty bad. The breakfast was OK.” — Robert F B., 3 stars

“The room was ok but needs some TLC. Best thing, however, was waking up in the morning and finding out our SUV had been broken into. When my husband told the manager, he simply said he was sorry. My advice: find another place to stay.” — Adventure B., 2 stars

"I recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Hilliard, OH, and overall, my experience was great. The staff was absolutely amazing—special thanks to Neal, Tanu, and Ryan for their outstanding service and hospitality. They made me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my stay. The price was very reasonable for the quality and comfort provided, which is always a plus. The only issue I noticed, which I hope can be improved in the future, was that the room had a bit of a smell. This was likely because the window couldn’t be opened, which made it hard to get fresh air inside. A simple solution like improved ventilation or refreshed air circulation would make the experience even better. Overall, great staff, great value, and I’d stay here again once that small issue is addressed."

"They don't have handy cap with double beds only king. Bath room didn't have wash cloths. The tub could of been cleaner. The room is really quiet and dark. Great for sleeping. Beds are also very comfortable."
