Hilton Columbus Downtown
"4.6-rated art-filled downtown convention hotel with pool, connected to convention center on High Street."
About The Hotel
The Hilton Columbus Downtown (4.6 rating, 2,519 reviews) on High Street is the marquee convention hotel and downtown landmark. Connected to the convention center via a skybridge, it anchors downtown’s north side near the Short North arts district, the Arena District, and High Street restaurants. Guests praise the polished aesthetic (original artwork on every floor, curated lobby) and exceptional cleanliness (4.7 rating). Rooms are compact but well-designed with desks, large showers, and mini-fridges. The pool, fitness center, and bar make it a full-service downtown base. Location rating (4.8) reflects its steps-from-everything position. A few guests note small rooms, droopy mattresses, and high downtown parking costs. For conventions, downtown events, and Short North nights, it’s the premium choice — pool and fitness substitute for in-room jacuzzis.
What Guests Are Saying
“Located by the convention center in Columbia, the Hilton is a large hotel located in downtown. The property is beautiful and well-maintained . The rooms are small but very functional. There is a desk with the ability to charge devices. There is a large shower and a nice size counter. There is a small fridge, coffee maker and water in the room. There are 2 building with a skybridge connecting them. A fitness center is available in both buildings. The fitness center is small but well equipped with strength and cardiac equipment. The size of the property can be challenging and sometimes hard to know which amenity is in which building. There was no food on property after 9 even in the bar. There are many restaurants on High street and lots of beautiful walks to see Ohio State, North Market and the Ohio state buildings along the river.” — Big R., 5 stars
“Our room was quiet, even though the hotel was sold out. Clean. Mattresses ok, bit droopy in the middle. Atmosphere is wonderful. Service excellent. Central location. AND, something we noticed: art everywhere. So not just in the lobby, but in the rooms. Original, credited art. Impressive.” — Ellen M., 5 stars
“Everyone here is so wonderful, accommodating and friendly. We have stayed here twice with out 1 1/2 year old and they always take great care of us. I would recommend this place to anyone!” — Nina D., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Hilton Columbus Downtown.
"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, Amara made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was perfect for getting around easily. FYR had some great cocktails as well and I would come here just for a meal even if I don't stay at the hotel."

The staff were great and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and eager to help. There are lots of nice restaurants inside the hotel, which makes dining convenient and enjoyable. The hotel also has a big, beautiful open space that looks down onto the courtyard. It creates a bright and impressive atmosphere as soon as you walk through the lobby. One of the highlights is the bar on the 28th floor. It has a full 360 panoramic view of downtown Columbus and is absolutely worth a visit. It is the perfect spot for a drink while taking in the skyline. Overall, the Hilton Columbus Downtown delivers a great experience with beautiful rooms, excellent service, great dining options, and a memorable rooftop bar. Five stars."

View on Google"This hotel is perfectly located near many key tourist areas in Columbus. The hotel is huge and a bit of a maze but that's part of the fun. There are several restaurants and bars inside of the hotel and adjoining it and it's about a 3-minute walk to the arena to watch the Blue Jackets. Staff were great. Check-in was easy. We loved our stay."
