A 4.2-rated Westin near the lakefront and convention center, with a restaurant, the brand’s Heavenly beds, a fitness center, and conference space. A reliable full-service downtown base with an excellent location score (4.7) and praised staff. It’s an older building with mixed feedback on housekeeping and noise; the Heavenly bed is a consistent highlight. A city hotel rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property. What Guests Are Saying

“I had the pleasure to meet Dedo Dixon at the Westin Hotel downtown Cleveland while I was staying there. I’ve been staying at Marriott’s for 35 years and I have NEVER met such a great person before at any Marriott. I was going through so much while I was there, I was a little depressed and couldn’t stop crying. Mr. Dixon should own a fleet of hotels because the empathy that he had for me is unmatched. He took the time out of his work day to make sure that I was ok mentally before leaving that hotel. I hate that he doesn’t live in Cleveland Ohio because I hate to see him go. I will be staying at The Westin Hotel from now on.” — Kisha H., 5 stars

“I stayed here the last two nights and liked it. There are a few things that are not perfect, but overall it is top notch. The staff is great and very friendly and helpful. My room was nice with a great view of the Terminal Tower out my window. I was n the 16th floor. I do some reno is going on as I saw when the elevator stopped at a floor and I could see it torn apart. The bathroom is fine and the tub/shower had some really neat tiles on the walls of it and a rainforest shower head. Thanks to spothero I was able to park in an adjoining garage for about 40% of the posted rate. A good stay for sure.” — Sliphorn, 5 stars

“First of all, Dedo the Manager was incredible. Everytime he saw me, he stopped, remembered my name, said hello and went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. I’ve travelled to over 60 countries, have stayed in Marriott properties all over the world, and this hotel is one of my favorites- for the staff alone! Great work Dedo and team!” — Katie B., 5 stars

"This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The hotel is clean, the trip from getting to your car in the parking garage into the main hotel is seamless because the elevator takes you right to the lobby. The hotel was over booked and didn't have the king size we booked so they gave us a double but the hotel made accommodations such as free dinner or breakfast voucher and a room with a nice view so we didnt mind the change. The staff was the most friendly staff I've ever encountered with the way they great ppl coming and going. Management was very friendly and accommodating and nobody was acting like they didn't want to be at work everyone seemed happy to be there working. The serving staff at breakfast was also very polite. The staff is diverse between age, race and cultures which is something I love to see when going to an American hotel. Location downtown is also great. Will definitely book again my next trip to Cleveland."

"Amazing location with great service. Front desk has been amazing with questions that I have had. I could not ask for better. The location is great. I walker to 4th and many bars and restaurants to choose from. Even next door there is the winking lizard. A staple here in cleveland. My only negative is the cost for parking. 57$ for valet and 40 something for self parking. 1 block over is a parking lot for 8$ per day. Beautiful hotel. Room looked perfect. Amazine!!"

"To start, I paid $80/night, so it's difficult to complain about a hotel at that price point. You can tell this used to be a pretty nice hotel, but the rooms have certainly seen better days. Furniture is worn, TV is small and outdated, and while clean - the bed linens had visible damage. All of the staff go out of their way to interact with you and provide a welcoming experience, which I really appreciate. The restaurant off the main lobby serves great breakfast at a reasonable price. I didn't have a car on this trip, but I would have been very annoyed to pay the mandatory valet rates, almost $60/day is really very excessive especially considering this is Cleveland, not NYC or Chicago."
