About The Hotel

A 4.4-rated Ritz-Carlton connected to the Tower City complex downtown, with a bar and lounge, a fitness center, EV charging, and full luxury service. The highest-end stay in the city and a true full-service luxury hotel. At this price point ($464–$506/night) some guests feel the experience doesn’t always match the Ritz name, with value scoring lowest of its subratings. Not an in-room-jacuzzi property—confirm any jetted-tub room directly if that is the priority. Best for travelers who want downtown luxury connected to Tower City, the arena and the ballpark. On West 3rd Street downtown, connected to Tower City near Rocket Arena and Progressive Field.

What Guests Are Saying

“Assuming a typical Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental sets the standard for what five-star hotels should look like, the Ritz Carlton Cleveland is a solid 4.5. In its favor, the property is lovely, the food is good, and the rooms are well-appointed and modern. The staff were all friendly and the Club Lounge is a must-add upgrade. The fitness center is also great. This does feel like a property that should have a pool, though. Keeping the Ritz Cleveland out of the conversation of the true five-star properties are small issues like the valet not asking if he could help with our luggage, waiting for a few minutes at the front desk unacknowledged while three employees were working on their computers, and a general lack of anticipating wants and needs and going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. For example, when learning that my family and I were going to a Guardians game, asking “how was the game?” when we returned would have been a nice touch. These are not huge negatives by any means, nor would they preclude me from staying at the Ritz again, but with some small and thoughtful tweaks, this could be a special place. As it is, the Ritz is by leaps and bounds the best hotel in Cleveland.” — Andrew, 5 stars

“I have stayed here a few times. It is always consistent and a wonderful stay. I always get upgraded to a suite. The suites are perfect. But, so are the regular rooms. The club room is a must. It just nice to be able to go there any time of day and have a nice selection of snacks and the Club attendants are wonderful. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and great menu. The workout room is incredible. The locker rooms are so relaxing and the sauna is sensational. Overall, this is the best hotel in Cleveland.” — Marielle C., 5 stars

“Jasmine made my multiple night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Cleveland amazing. She truly went above and beyond for me in every way possible to ensure my stay was amazing. She provided excellent customer service. Ritz-Carlton is my absolute favorite property to stay during my visits to Cleveland. The rooms are so spacious, beds are very comfortable, the property is immaculate and the staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure their guests have the best experience. Thank you Jasmine for an amazing stay!” — Erin J., 5 stars

"First time staying at the Ritz here in Cleveland & it truly was a wonderful experience! Our first point of contact was with Pedro at the main entrance for valet parking. Pedro was just a pleasure to meet, friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic, great smile! Check in with Huda was a breeze, and she gave us a wonderful room facing the river! Room was large, well appointed, clean, had the most COMFORTABLE bed & we couldn’t have been more pleased with it! Dinner at TURN was exceptional! Our server (Julie) did a phenomenal job and we thoroughly enjoyed the Angus Reserve Filet & Pork Chop Milanese!! Also the Baby Gem Caesar Salad and the fresh hot rolls (best dinner roll I’ve had!) were quite tasty! We were celebrating my Love’s birthday & Julie brought out a special dessert (a Ritz chocolate cake & another white one which was equally as scrumptious!) for the occasion & that just made the evening even more perfect!! Had a comfy, cozy nights’ sleep in that awesome bed, enjoyed the Nespresso coffee maker first thing in the morning & surprised my Love with a delicious room service breakfast of Steel Cut oatmeal w/apple compote, fresh berries & raisins and a breakfast burrito…the meal came quickly & was piping hot and prepared perfectly! Yes, it was pricey (along with the valet parking which is WAY overpriced at $60/day ~~ that is absurd, really!) but this is a once-a-year splurge and we really had a great experience with everything so that makes the pricing of it all a little easier to digest! Checkout with Matt was equally seamless & Bob down at the valet was quite friendly & a fine representative of the Ritz Carlton!! It started well & ended well here at The Ritz & we are grateful for the opportunity to stay there and looking forward to another visit in 2026!!"

"I attended the '25 CLE Ritz Carlton holiday tea on 12/28/25. The room the tea was held in, the violinist, the tea selections and food were great. Our wait staff AVERY, MICHEAL AND KATIE were all very attentive, kind and professional - they made this event (and me) feel very special!! I would attend again."
