Holiday Inn Express Cleveland Downtown
"Central Holiday Inn Express in a historic Euclid Avenue building with free breakfast and a top location score."
About The Hotel
A 4.1-rated Holiday Inn Express in a historic Euclid Avenue building, with free breakfast, a fitness center, a game room, and valet parking. It has the best location score among downtown value hotels (4.7) and friendly, helpful staff. The historic building feels dated to some guests—an odd check-in hallway and a small, slow elevator that guests flag. A practical, central value base rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property. Best for travelers who want a central, value-focused downtown base with free breakfast. On Euclid Avenue downtown, on the HealthLine and steps from Playhouse Square.
What Guests Are Saying
“What a place! Once we entered, we felt as though we were transported to an entirely different place. From the first person to greet us in the lobby and the kind gentleman who checked us in, to the housekeeping staff and maintenance team, all were so friendly that we felt like a king and queen! And then the room… so nice. The bed was a little high, but it was the perfect firmness for both of us. The closet was huge and the bathroom was very nice, with a step-in shower. Beware; there is no shower door. The water can soak the floor if not careful. We ate dinner in the restaurant Agave & Masa. Best experience of the richness of Tex-Mex! My husband I ordered the Quesadillas and enjoyed sharing two different types served with Rice and Black Beans. Outstanding quality and taste.” — Road58912209777, 5 stars
“We have stayed here multiple times over the years and did again for the Browns/Packers game. Good win by the way. The hotel is perfectly located close to everything downtown. Parking is very convenient less than half a block away. Valet is available but we always park ourselves. Check-in was simple and the desk clerk was extremely pleasant. The rooms are fine for an overnight stay. The bathrooms could use an update as they’re on the older side. We’ve done the breakfast in the past, which was fine, but did not on this occasion. I would certainly stay again the next time we’re in town for a game or event.” — Clark S., 4 stars
“An old looking hotel and could use a major renovation. The elevators are very old. In fact, the front desk told us they were made in 1896 and when we were there two were under repair and caused issues. The room is very spacious. Very impressed with the many tv channels offered. Bed was comfortable. Location was perfect. Valet Parking rate was reasonable compared to other downtown Cleveland hotels. Hotel was fine for a one night stay.” — BoardingPass211027, 4 stars
