What Guests Are Saying

“We had a Cleveland Clinic appt and because my husband is having some trouble getting ready in the am, we decided to stay over night. We read that there was a shuttle to the Clinic but we didn’t know that there was a special rate for clinic patients. So we got our reservation through Booking.com. Had we known it would have been cheaper to call the hotel direct. When we got there Thursday night, I was a little frazzled and they were extremely helpful. It wasn’t necessarily a luxurious hotel but the staff made me feel comfortable. They helped me make some decisions and the registration was swift and easy. When we got to the room, it was clean and welcoming. I had to go back down to move the car to the parking area so I asked then were would be a good place to eat. They suggested several and mention that Cibreo was a great Italian Restaurant. I got our luggage upstairs and my husband said well let’s go see. I plan to do a wonderful review of them too. In the morning, the shuttle helped and when I couldn’t find my car keys they helped so I could get my husband to his appt on time. The driver of the shuttle, Carlos was fabulous. He helped me work through the catastrophe giving me needed information to how to get another fob for my car. When we reached the Clinic, he got us a w/c and as I was walking down the hall slowly getting my bearings, he came running back in to tell us that the maid had found me keys. Then upon returning to the hotel, we got our belongings from storage, our leftovers from the night before from the fridge behind the desk and our keys. I want to see out a special thank you to the evening help and the day help for all they did for us. Jalisa, Riddi, Jessica, Nora, Deepta and Carlos, I can’t thank you enough for helping me get through a very difficult time. The test had good results, we don’t know what is causing my husbands difficulties but without you, I wouldn’t have made it through Sept 5, 2025.” — travelingcouples4, 5 stars

“Highly recommend. Great location, professional staff, the best hotel bed I’ve slept in, inexpensive onsite parking. I compared the Crown Plaza down the street which was $30 more, but parking was $45 compared to $14.50 at Comfort Inn. My room was next to the elevator and vending/ice, but no noise at all. And I couldn’t believe how comfortable the bed and pillows were. The bathroom was quite small and shower not impressive, but it was good enough. I booked through the Super website, which I was a bit nervous about, but it got me the lowest price and worked fine. Just pay attention as you’re clicking through so you don’t sign up for the membership, unless you travel often and want to. We walked to Rocket Arena through Playhouse Square area which was cool. Didn’t feel unsafe at all walking back at 11pm. Walked to breakfast the next morning, Starbucks nearby and Dunkin across the street. I didn’t notice the breakfast area at the hotel. There were Lyft scooters nearby, no Lime. Lyft doesn’t do multiple scooters by the way, as Lime does. Easy to get to from the highway and easy getting back out. Traffic is nearly nonexistent.” — Kris W., 5 stars

“I stayed at the Comfort Inn Downtown in December 2025 and had a very pleasant experience. Our room was exceptionally clean, which made the stay feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The hotel is a bit outdated, but honestly, that’s part of the charm — it fits right in with the classic character of Cleveland and the historic feel of the surrounding area. The location is excellent, especially if you’re visiting Playhouse Square or exploring downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything we needed was easily within reach. Overall, it was a clean, convenient, and enjoyable stay with a touch of old‑school Cleveland personality.” — Ana B., 5 stars

"I gotta say I’m impressed! I got no complaints. The front desk staff Gloria and Deepa were so kind and helpful to me. Easily extended my trip by a night for the same rate. Parking is directly behind the building and has a security guard 24/7. Can’t beat the location. Literally within walking distance to the two concert venues I came to see. Super thankful they keep the rates decently affordable (about $100 on a week night) bed was comfy, room clean, shower was nice, working coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. They even have a nice continental breakfast till 9:30 am. Super thankful to find this place and plan to be back a bunch more. Thanks again for your kindness with parking and rates. Only drawback was not being able to open hotel windows but that’s common on the upper floor. So can’t complain. Overall quality experience for the price for sure. They treated me great as a gold member."

"Comfort inn, is in such a perfect location for tourism. It was a treat to get to see the theaters nearby and the place was clean and comfortable. Staff did not bother me at all. Definitely recommend but come prepared if you have limited transportation as the options of stores is limited on foot!"

"This place was amazing. True; I got this 3 day stay for free via a sweepstakes on Expedia, and it was not limited to this hotel. But I'm absolutely thrilled with chosing this one. I could've chosen something closer to the square or casino but this was the one. Absolutely thrilled with the customer service, especially the Jamaican woman who oversees the FREE breakfast every morning. I actually looked forward to not only the breakfast but the conversation with that woman every morning. Everything was clean, parking lot was on 24/7 surveillance, we walked everywhere. We was in room 301; next time I would love to experience the other views from perhaps 300:400:or 500. Would always be willing to write another review ;p 10 out of 10 would recommend"
