About The Hotel

The Christopher Inn & Suites is a 4.3-rated family-owned hotel (320 reviews) on North Plaza Boulevard near the US-23/US-35 junction in Chillicotle. Strong subratings for service (4.6), cleanliness (4.5), rooms (4.5), and value (4.4) confirm its reputation as a solid, well-run property. Guests praise the indoor pool and shared hot tub—a rare combination, as many hotels have closed their soaks. Honeymoon and Riverview suites elevate the romantic appeal, and above-average breakfast fuels morning adventures. It is positioned as a family and couples’ value hotel, not an in-room-jacuzzi property. Honest caveat: odd-side rooms hear highway noise, so request a quieter location when booking.

What Guests Are Saying

“Located our room near the lovely large pool and hot tub. Room nothing fancy but very clean with good mattress. Breakfast was above average. Has a family-owned feel, which it is. We were so impressed we changed plans and made a reservation for our return trip.” — Jeanne K., 5 stars

“Hotel was clean, near restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have an indoor pool AND hot tub, which many hotels are closing up.” — Brenda H., 5 stars

Cons:

"Top-Notch. Christopher Inn and Suites does many things well but in a few important areas they are top-notch. Our clean room had excellent mattresses and I had a very good night sleep for it. In the morning breakfast was also excellent. The choices were fairly standard but the quality was very high and you could taste the difference. Many other good things, like the pool and location and nice people working there too. I think my favorite thing was the breakfast, I mean it was really good!"

"Dated building and decor but very clean and tidy. Breakfast is similar to other chains but a step up in quality and a couple more options. Lots of nice little touches. Area seems safe but nothing special other than being near the Hocking Hills and the historic downtown district. Roosters restaurant nearby a decent watering hole with pub fare."
