What Guests Are Saying

“dated dump!! Typical Cherokee Casino..Horrible and unfriendly!” — Dan R., 1 star

“This was the worse place I’ve ever stayed. The employees are so very rude. The room was filthy with bugs on the floor as soon as we walked in. Woke up several times during the night because of the squeaky bed (with cobwebs all along the base of the bed) and because it was so hot in our room. Had to go down to get the cart person to get a cart. Called several times and nobody would bring a cart up. And when I came back to room with cart and cart person they were clearly not happy about it. The whole experience was a bad one. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Take my advice. We won’t even get into the casino. Go elsewhere.” — Jessica R., 1 star

“Staff were not very hospitable.Ordered some drinks basically took an hour to get them and still had to place another order with same young lady .I guess we will look at casinos elsewhere .they seem to be on the end of their existence.” — B A., 1 star

"Drafts Bar and Grill at Gold Strike Casino delivered comfort, flavor, and some truly standout hospitality. Cartarsha, my waitress, is the cutest little gem and has been working here for 20 years. She was incredibly informative about the casino, patient with every question, and carried the sweetest, most genuine demeanor that instantly made the experience warmer and more personal. I ordered the Texas cheese fries loaded with cheddar cheese sauce, bacon bits, and sour cream. I passed on the jalapeño this time. The fries arrived piping hot and perfectly crispy, swimming in a rich cheddar sauce that clung to every bite. The bacon was not an afterthought at all. These were huge, smoky chunks that added deep flavor and texture throughout the dish. The sour cream cooled things down just a touch, offering a creamy contrast to the heat of the fries. Even halfway through, I had to slow myself down because the fries were still seriously hot, and I loved every minute of it. This dish could have easily been shared with three people and still felt generous. It is an excellent value for your dollar. I also had the best margaritas I have ever had while visiting this casino. I regret not catching the names of the gentlemen who helped me at the bar because they were kind, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. As I walked back to Romeo, my RV van camper, I was stopped in my tracks by the most majestic sight. A United States flag waving high and proud against the sky. It was a beautiful, grounding moment that felt like the perfect ending to a great visit."

"It is what it is a casino. I dodnt stay at the hotel just gambled. The machines didnt do much for me sucked up $200 as fast as I put it in the machine but I had a good time with family doing it. The casino area was nice no complaints as far as cleanliness in that area. The staff were nice and professional. Good time."
