"Great old building. The beds are comfortable the rooms are clean hotel was updated at some point to look like it is old. There are great old stair cases throughout the whole building with nice old banister, but it also has elevators to all levels so you don't have to take the stairs if you don't want to. The bar downstairs had a nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. We plan on making another trip to Redwing this summer and staying at the St. James. Must stay if you like old buildings and history."

View on Google"My family and I met for a weekend getaway at the St James. The location is great for shopping in the area. The staff all went above and beyond to make our stay great. The restaurants have wonderful food. The rooms were very quaint. My only complaint is they were very chilly. I would recommend this hotel and the city of Red Wing to my friends for a weekend destination."
