View on Google"My wife and I spent three days here while hiking in Lake Itasca State Park (about 45 minutes away). We highly recommend this B&B for both the B and the B. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and we slept great (may have been helped by the hiking). The living room is also very comfy. I got up early every morning and sat there by myself with the fire going reading a book and sipping coffee. Pretty sweet. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and very filling. We skipped lunch each day, even though we were burning up calories hiking, because the breakfasts were so good. Katie, the proprietor, is a very good cook and she was very flexible with her menu. She would check with us each evening to see if there was anything we did or did not like with her planned menu. We are not picky eaters so we just put ourselves in her hands and were glad we did. If you are planning activities in central to north central MN, this is a great place to stay."
