“The Stockbridge Country Inn is a lovely place to stay while visiting the Berkshires. It is very close to Tanglewood and other Berkshire attractions like the Mount and the Norman Rockwell museum. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. The breakfast is wonderful with many options and accommodations for food allergies. Diane is a wonderful host, and gives great recommendations for area attractions and day trips. I would highly recommend staying at the Stockbridge County Inn.” — Annie R., 5 stars
“Diane and her staff at the Inn are warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable and well stocked with towels and amenities. The breakfasts were generous, delicious, and served with a smile and friendly conversation. The Inn has numerous public spaces to find a spot to sit and read, or engage in conversation. As a bonus, the Inn has a swimming pool set in the Inn’s lovely country surroundings; a nice place to sit and relax (and swim).” — dmrk28j, 5 stars
“We loved our stay with Diane and her “unique”, beautiful home. Beautifully decorated rooms (not modern, in keeping with the age and style of the house). I say “unique” because of the number of rooms in the house. You can have a Cooked-To-Order Breakfast in a different room for 3 straight days. Yes, the breakfasts were amazing and since the Kitchen is right there, you get to interact with the great cook and servers.” — Alaninphoenix, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Stockbridge Country Inn.
"Warm and inviting! Lovely country inn, well appointed rooms and bathrooms with room to move around! Amazing breakfast and service! Lots of cozy spots to settle in with book or bring your favorite beverage! Had it been colder we would have used fireplace in room! Stayed in Ben’s Suite-corner room. imagine all the suits are similar amenities. Diane is delightful hostess! Definitely put this on your list to stay when visiting Berkshires. Used as central location to visit surrounding towns. No sidewalks so not walking distance into Stockbridge town but less than 5 minute drive. Much nicer than the big old inn located in center of Stockbridge! Enjoy your stay, we did!"

View on Google"We just returned from an early October weekend stay at Stockbridge Country Inn for our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely time. Diane (the owner) runs a charming, beautifully appointed vintage inn. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the decor, the china, the staff etc. Not a spot of dust anywhere that I could see. Diane is a cheerful, informative and friendly host. We stayed in the Stockbridge Suite which was roomy and comfortable. The bed was super-comfortable and the sheets amazingly soft. The bathroom was huge with lots of soft towels. The Inn is a very short drive to downtown Stockbridge and just down the road from Rockwell Museum. We drove to Lenox and Lee as well, all relatively short drives through beautiful countryside. We would definitely stay here again! A few notes (not criticisms): --If you like walking or running in the morning, this Inn is not adjacent to any sidewalks or walking trails. You will have to walk a bit on what at times is a somewhat busy road to get to the back roads. (but don't get me wrong, there is not a lot of traffic, it is very quiet) --Breakfast is served a tad on the later side (9 a.m.) which if you are in the habit of waking at 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. and starting the day, could be inconvenient. --The shower pressure is good but the shower heads could be updated - could not get them to full spray."

Comfortable room, lovely decor (especially festive for the holidays!) wonderful home cooked breakfast and, best of all, warm and welcoming innkeepers. We plan to be back within the New Year."
