It scores a 4.7 across 730 reviews and is consistently praised for its location, cleanliness, and refined atmosphere. Guests single out the free breakfast, couples-massage service, and pool as signature amenities, and the colonial setting with views of the yacht-filled harbor makes it one of the North Shore’s most coveted inns. “I’m a local resident and I always send visitors here. This week I moved into the Inn to escape the blizzard. Cassandra and Matt were so welcoming and reassuring during a stressful time. "I found this bed and breakfast serendipitously on a New Year's Eve a few years ago. My wife and I have stayed there a few times now. They have been wonderful stays. The rooms are very homey and well kept, the common areas are welcoming, and the breakfast is great (including many gf options). The staff is also friendly and accommodating. Staying at this old inn in an historic town really adds to the charm of the trip."

"I loved my stay here!! The inn is beautiful and beautifully maintained. The rooms were cozy, charming, and pristine. I was lowkey obsessed with the Halloween decor. It’s truly like staying in a postcard. Very easy to walk and explore the area from the inn, and the breakfast was delicious, with a nice selection of light bites, baked goods, and plentiful coffee. Will absolutely return"

"This is a wonderful hotel to stay at, from the location (historic Marblehead is such a lovely area to explore) to the amazing rooms. They are spacious, comfortable and well maintained, and housekeeping is fantastic. There's little decorative touches throughout the hotel, the fireplaces are lovely to sit and relax by (we were in a large room with a sofa bed that didn't have its own fireplace but there were 3 downstairs to sit at). The staff were without exception friendly, welcoming and attentive the whole time."
