About The Hotel

The Hyannis Harbor Hotel sits on Ocean Street at Hyannis Harbor, offering the rare combination of a shared hot tub and direct waterfront access with the island ferries steps away. It holds a 3.7 across 713 reviews, with guests praising the location and the nautical charm but reporting mixed results on maintenance and service consistency. Some rooms show their age, and the property is older and busier than luxury establishments, but the hot tub and beach access are standout amenities. Best for travelers who prioritize waterfront location and easy ferry access over luxury finishes. The hot tub is shared, not private; confirm any in-room jetted-tub room at booking.

What Guests Are Saying

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Located across the street from fast ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. 5 minute walk to the state ferry to Nantucket. Lots of dinning options on site and close by. Beach is an 11 minute walk away. Same with main street in the other direction. As for views they did there best with what they have. I would recommend if you’re looking for a clean comfortable place to crash after a day of sightseeing.” — Scenic35062951933, 5 stars

"The Hyannis Harbor Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Cape Cod. It’s very well located, right across from the harbor, making it easy to access the ferries, restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions in Hyannis. You can walk everywhere, which makes the stay even more enjoyable and convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with cozy beds and a relaxing atmosphere. The entire property is well maintained, with modern decor and thoughtful details that make you feel at home. The pool and lounge areas are also great for relaxing after a day exploring the area. The service is outstanding — the staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. It’s clear that they truly care about providing guests with a great experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its affordable price, especially considering the quality of the service, the comfort of the rooms, and the perfect location. Whether you’re visiting for business or vacation, the Hyannis Harbor Hotel offers everything you need for a pleasant and memorable stay. Highly recommended!"

"We drove in late at night having just landed in Boston. We had no idea what to expect. The hotel was directly across from the Hyline Ferry to Nantucket and Martha’s Vinyard. We ate breakfast at The Landing, a cafe across the street, before boarding the ferry to Nantucket. The hotel was clean and quiet. We had a nice balcony that we could have used if we had gotten there earlier. If you like pubs/taverns, there is a pub down the street, 19th Hole Tavern that I recommend. CASH ONLY. The bartender, Bob, was great. Drinks were great and the tavern is like you are stepping back in time to a tavern in Boston. Great atmosphere."

"If you set your expectations based on a 3-star hotel as advertised, you’ll be happy. The good: * Location is excellent. It is close to the fairy and a 12 minute walk to down town Main Street. * Numerous restaurants near by (walking distance) * Nice fire pit, pool, hot tub, and other amenities. * Mattress was comfortable. * Shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. * Coffee machine in front lobby (pods) produced some good coffee. * Staff was friendly. Opportunity for improvement: * Pillows varied in fullness but they were all uncomfortable. * If your room is by the ice machine or back hall door, you will be interrupted throughout the night. * Hotel does not offer or include a free breakfast. All in all, we would stay here again. Keep your expectations in check and you’ll be happy."
