About The Hotel

The Admiralty Inn & Suites sits on Route 28 near Waquoit Bay and the Falmouth beaches, offering an honest budget option for Upper Cape travelers. It holds a 3.3 across 436 reviews, reflecting an older property with quirky layouts and variable room quality, balanced against friendly staff, clean rooms, and a heated indoor pool that guests appreciate. The location near the Shining Sea Bikeway and the Martha’s Vineyard ferry is excellent for active travelers. Set expectations to practical and no-frills, confirm room details before booking, and you will find an affordable base for a budget Cape trip focused on cycling, kayaking, and island hopping rather than luxury amenities.

What Guests Are Saying

“I was very pleased with my week-long stay at the Admiralty. I was there for Thanksgiving but a family emergency meant I had to adapt my plans more than once and they were very accommodating. You can tell the property is a bit old, but everything was clean and well cared for. The staff were friendly and professional, though property info in the room was a bit off. “Daily breakfast at 7” actually starts at 8 on Sundays, for example. The front desk guy also teased me for not knowing the code to get into the fitness center but I couldn’t find that communicated anywhere, either. Finally, I loved that there was a heated indoor pool because I’m doing some physical therapy and that helped a lot. However, the odd layout of the hotel meant that people had to cut through the indoor pool area to go to the breakfast room and that was pretty awkward.” — Nancy L., 5 stars

"We were pleasantly surprised when opening the door to our room. Very nicely remodeled room and very clean. Room was way in the rear with covered parking underneath the solar panels. The manager Eric was very friendly and helpful, along with the evening staff. Plus, a small venue for breakfast was included. Overall, we mostly would be returning to this hotel if in the area. Thanks for a beautiful stay."

"The Admiralty Inn is a great choice for a room block for your wedding weekend in Falmouth! It’s a larger hotel just east of downtown Falmouth and while we didn’t personally stay there, we coordinated a room block to have our guests stay there the week of our wedding. We were delighted to learn that prices were very reasonable for an August 2025 weekend, at under $250 per night (2-night minimum). We had no issues with our invited guests securing rooms, even once every room within the designated room block was full. We made sure to set up the room block about a year in advance and communicate to guests the urgency with booking in advance (the cancellation policy was also very friendly, at 100% refundable with more than 3 days’ notice). Management was accommodating in allowing our shuttle buses to pick up and drop off guests at the Admiralty Inn, and they got our guest welcome bags where they needed to go after we dropped them off. The rooms are nice enough (you didn’t come to Falmouth to spend all weekend in your hotel room) and we heard no complaints about anything there."

"I had mixed feelings going in because of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were in excellent condition, and breakfast was decent. We’ll definitely be back."
