What Guests Are Saying
“The Newbury was top end of our budget, but was worth every cent. We had just two nights in Boston so we wanted a central location to help explore the city as much as possible in this short time. The Newbury was perfect, right next to the Public Garden - all the main spots in comfortable walking distance, and very central, whilst also feeling something of a calm oasis almost the bustle of a busy city. The room (King size, Park View) was great. Immaculately presented and very spacious. ALL the staff were exceptional.” — Michael F., 5 stars
“Muhammad and Chad welcomed us so warmly and, as always, were incredibly helpful and genuinely wonderful. Mabel and Juan at breakfast at Contessa were exceptional, and Christopher, the assistant manager, was outstanding. Marco is truly a cut above — remarkable service, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a true professional. What an extraordinary team at The Newbury Boston. Thank you once again for another outstanding stay.” — Sheryl S., 5 stars
“I am not normally one to write reviews, but the Street Bar consistently knocks it out of the park in a way that’s hard to quantify. I am literally making my first TripAdvisor account to leave this review - it’s that good. Shasha is particularly terrific, and will make you feel at home and welcomed. She and the whole team at the street bar are exceedingly professional and thoughtful, and are true masters of their craft.” — Oliver P., 5 stars

What guests are saying about The Newbury Boston.
"This is a very nicely located hotel on the edge of the Common and the boutique shops on Newbury Street. Management describe it as a pet-friendly boutique hotel. When we stayed we discovered that all but one floor of rooms(10th floor) are pet accessible, which is not made explicit on the website. Please take note when booking Staff are friendly, professional and helpful within the hotel. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Those facing the park have wonderful views towards the city. There is guest access to a Library sitting room where food from the street bar is served, but be aware this is also a dog welcome space. We enjoyed our stay, but not being dog people, the experience was tainted."

View on Google"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Stay at The Newbury Boston My mom and I stayed at The Newbury Boston during our summer holiday, and it was without a doubt the best holiday we’ve ever shared together. Everything from the booking process to our final goodbye was seamless and memorable. A huge thank you to Reda from Sales, who helped us with our reservation. Reda was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional, yet wonderfully warm and hospitable. Every detail was handled perfectly, and his thoughtful assistance set the stage for an exceptional stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mohammed from the valet, whose genuine kindness and professionalism made a wonderful first impression. James, also from the valet team, was equally attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. At reception, Mario was outstanding, efficient, and always ensuring we felt right at home. His attention to detail and care truly elevated our experience. The hotel itself is breathtaking: elegant, serene, and ideally located in the heart of Boston. Our room was immaculate and beautifully appointed, and every moment at The Newbury felt special. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable. My mom and I will cherish these memories forever, and we can’t wait to return."
