What Guests Are Saying

“Well earned Best Boston Hotel designation. They represent the reason why I pick IHG as the hotel chain I choose consistently. But BEYOND everything, I CANNOT not mention Zach, from the front desk who amazed me beyond belief. I am a local to the area and sometimes rent rooms when I need space to work on specific cumbersome administrative projects that take time and concentration. I checked in two days prior but did not return until today. NOT ONLY did Zach remember me when I stopped by the front desk, but despite, I am sure, having checked anywhere from a dozen to a hundred guests (busiest hotel in the city), he remembered me AND my room number! I have been around hotels from zero to 5 stars across the entire world and a friendly staff remembering which room I am in DAYS after they checked me in had NEVER happened. I now understand why the rest of the world knows that this facility is within the top 30 on Earth. I could not recommend it enough if I tried.” — Quincy N., 5 stars

“Amazing experience at Intercontinental Boston, can’t wait to come back. Location is just perfect right by the water and outstanding customer service by Lili, Inilta and Krish. Checked in early for my special birthday with amazing room facing the water and delicious little treat for me. When I had an issue with noisy big dog barking at night they took care of it right away. Close to south station with shuttle bus to Logan. Gym, steam room is amazing. Loved my stay and can’t wait to return.” — Ildiko K., 5 stars

“We were very impressed with every aspect of this well run, comfortable hotel right in the heart of Boston. Our room was enormous; the bed was terrific as were the views looking out into the harbor. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome; kudos to the excellent concierge as well. Breakfast was delicious. One of the best of this brand we’ve stayed at and we hope to visit again! It was a great stay. We didn’t want to leave!” — scottacat, 5 stars

"We hadn’t stayed at the InterContinental in about 15 years, so we were pleasantly surprised by how luxurious everything felt. The hotel was spotless, and everyone we encountered was incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt comfortable and safe throughout our stay. We were also upgraded at check-in to a beautiful, spacious room with a water view, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool and gym were wonderful. We’re already looking forward to staying here again in the future."

"Had an excellent stay. Very well kept/clean, great location within steps from the Boston Tea Party ship area, helpful and friendly staff, and very nice club level. Fridge is a stocked one so there is only room for about a couple beverages. Keurig in the room with a nice supply. We did not have our dog but saw several so it must be dog-friendly. Terrific walking /running area by the water. Parking was a tad odd; you have to pull into the garage for the valet, it seems, which wasn’t clear, but maybe it was because it was busy with a wedding group in the front."

"The Intercontinental Boston is our favorite hotel in the city. We return her every year for our wedding anniversary. We've always been treated like royalty each and every time. The rooms are great. Very comfortable with nice amenities beautiful bathrooms nice soaking tubs. The hotel staff has gone out of their way to provide extraordinary service. From the greeting at the front door to the front desk to the concierge to the restaurants, the cleaning staff, the valets have all been just great for us. We love it here. We can't wait to come back."
