What Guests Are Saying

“The two of us stayed two nights at Blueberry Fields the second weekend of October. Deb and Cyd, who built this wonderful bed and breakfast in the midst of a beautiful Maine landscape, pay attention to the details that make a stay very pleasant. The rooms are large and comfortable, the breakfasts are delightful, and the entire atmosphere of the place is welcoming. Whether you are looking for peace and quiet or simply a great place from which to explore the unique state of Maine and many of its varied attractions (which we did, visiting both Rockland and Bath and points between over two days), Blueberry Fields can’t be beat.” — Daniel M., 5 stars

“The entrance was very inviting; porch the entire length of the building, had rocking chairs, a couple bar sets, and some tables. As you entered the front door you were in the “living room ”surrounded by wood beams, with comfortable chairs, and a prominent wood stove. Behind the room was the dining area and a small bar. From the “living room” you could go where there were 3 rooms, or down to the basement to 2 rooms, a game room, and sitting area with a large TV. The rooms were immaculately maintained and pleasantly decorated. The atmosphere of the entire facility was warm and comfortable; a lot had to do with the fact that the entire construction was wood…..and built by the owners! Delicious, homemade Breakfasts were served every morning to guests and available to the public on weekends. Across the road is a huge field of blueberry plants….hence, the name i assume! The B&B is open year-round; there are trails for summer or for winter activities. This is a great place to hang out and relax! The staff is very attentive……greeting you upon your arrival, making sure the breakfasts are perfect, and saying goodbye when you leave! They become like friends!” — Jill C., 5 stars

“Blueberry Fields is the perfect Maine Bed & Breakfast. It’s located in a quiet, scenic setting that’s close to all the Maine Midcoast sites. The hosts are wonderful people who make you feel welcome and provide great recommendations for local eateries. Be sure and explore the trails on the property. The Fall colors were great. Breakfast was good and the lodging was perfect. I had everything I needed.” — walkej, 5 stars

"From the moment we arrived at Blueberry Fields Bed & Breakfast, we felt truly welcomed by Cyd and Deb. The inn has a warmth and charm that instantly puts you at ease—cozy rooms, thoughtful touches, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel more like you’re staying with family than at a hotel. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels cared for. Whether it was the warm greetings, the homemade touches at breakfast, or simply the genuine conversations, you can tell that hospitality here comes from the heart. Every detail—from the inviting common areas to the peaceful setting—reflects comfort and care. Waking up to the smell of a delicious breakfast and sipping coffee while looking out over the beautiful grounds was the perfect way to start each day. If you’re looking for a place that’s not only relaxing and cozy but also deeply welcoming, Blueberry Fields is the kind of B&B you’ll want to return to again and again. "All around an amazing experience. The hosts were very accommodating when we needed to arrive late. They greeted us with smiles and were hospitable asking us if we needed anything after our arrival. Breakfast was delicious. All the surrounding property is gorgeous with blueberry fields, woods and walking trails. Everything was extremely clean and well cared for. We loved all the cozy books for reading and listening to records. We will be back!"
