What Guests Are Saying

“Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Large rooms with space to spread out. Nice pool, gym, and an amazing complementary breakfast with a large selection that was hot and fresh! Price was great too!” — Mike M., 5 stars

“We had an outstanding stay here. Our room was spacious and clean, The beds were comfortable. Blinds covered the entire window well so the room was completely dark. The shower water pressure was strong and the towels were fluffy and high quality. Breakfast the next morning was a notch above the normal hotel breakfast fare. The eggs were delicious as were the fried potatoes and bacon. They also had muffins, whole bananas, apples, and oranges, as well as a large bowl of cut-up fruit. Best of all were the scones: blueberry and lemon poppy seed. The hotel was quiet and neither of us felt unsafe heading out solo to the cars in the late evening. I also want to note my room needs had changed after I made my initial reservation. I called the hotel directly, speaking to either Aubrey or Audrey. She was immensely helpful and my needed changes were made correctly. I’d happily stay here again when in the area.” — NieSam, 5 stars

“This hotel is currently under construction (5/2026). The gym is closed and there are construction workers around the lobby, especially at breakfast. Speaking of which, it was very good with the options changing daily. Room was clean with good beds. The pillows were not the best, but if you ask for more you can pile them together. The staff was very friendly all around. The front desk people always said “Good Morning” and “Good Evening”. Situated perfectly between Rockland and Camden. Would definitely stay here again.” — Andrea60, 4 stars

"Just spent four nights, doing day trips to enjoy everything along Route 1and the Maine coast! Convenient location and great service from every staff member!! PLUS .. terrific seafood nearby at The Zach Shack and ice cream across the street at Dorman’s Dairy Dream. Chris at the front desk could not have been more accommodating!! Building was clean, well maintained, and breakfast was exceptional. Our stay made for a wonderful Maine mid coast experience!!!"

"The staff at this hotel is excellent. I mostly dealt with Aubrey and Tyler, but every member of the staff is excellent and friendly. The hotel is well kept and the room was quiet and comfortable. It’s well situated with an Applebees next door and other eateries and services nearby"

"This Hampton Inn in Rockland looks to be fairly new. Our room was basically. A large studio with a bed on one side and chairs table and couch on the other side, it had freshly been painted. The mattress was comfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The price was comparable. The location was excellent for us to visit the central Maine coastline. Would definitely stay here again."
