“We stayed here on a Saturday night in November and loved everything about our stay! The hotel is really nice and has lots of nice touches throughout. It was decorated for Christmas with 2 beautiful trees and other decorations. There are several sitting areas throughout the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable! We had 2 queen beds that were warm and comfy with big fluffy pillows. There’s a separate “living area” in the room which has a pullout sofa, coffee table and a table with chairs. There’s a small balcony off the living area. There’s a kitchen area with a sink, counter, microwave, mini fridge and glasses. The bathroom was large and had everything you need, nice towels, warm shower with great water pressure. I loved that they had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in a rosemary scent! We didn’t hear any noise at all from any other rooms. The TV had cable and the room was the perfect temperature. The location of the hotel is great, easy to find. Staff members were all nice and friendly especially the breakfast attendant, he was wonderful. The breakfast was awesome, lots of choices! They had cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, pastries, bagels, toast, English muffins, yogurt, make your own waffles, sausages, egg and cheese omelets, apples, coffee, cranberry juice, orange juice and water and all the little condiments you need for everything, we did not go hungry!! We really liked the fitness room and used it twice, they had weights and 3 pieces of equipment and a yoga ball and mat. Outside the fitness room there were 2 changing rooms with showers in them, lockers and a water dispenser! The highlight of our stay was the pool!! We all loved it, inside the pool area there’s a restroom, a shower area, lots of seating, lounge chairs, and a hot tub with jets! The heated pool was so nice once you got in and got used to the water, we stayed in for a long time and went back in the next morning. I think the value of the hotel was decent! By the lobby there were drinks and snacks you could purchase as well as merchandise like sweatshirts, jams, maple syrup, lotions and other things. “We cannot say enough nice things about the Country Inn. From the ‘curb appeal’ to the check in experience, it was great. Was just a bit difficult to hit the drive way (it snuck up on us each time we drove back to it), but plenty of parking. The lobby is rustic looking, like something from yester years. FRIENDLY staff, quick check in. They provided quick answers for anything we asked, including a dinner place the first night we checked in. The rooms were great. We had 2 queen beds. Room wasn’t tight. AC worked well. No noise from other rooms and I think they were full. Hot tub and pool were open (yay!) but the pool wasn’t heated or at least not much. Hot tub was nice. Only complaint there was that it closed at 9:30 and they ran you out at 9:30. There was no wiggle room. Towels were good, changed daily even though we hung them up. Not sure the if sheets weren’t changed daily, but the beds were made up every morning except one (which didn’t bother us at all). Breakfast was fantastic. Nice hot choices, and the staff really hustled to keep everything filled and clean. The only complaint about the breakfast area was that it was a bit tight to navigate if it was busy; there was a center island which either should be a bit smaller or not there at all, but it was manageable. They have cabins out back and a couple of suites. We peaked inside one of the suites on our floor as the housekeeping crew were cleaning. REALLY NICE. Didn’t look at the price, but if you have an extended stay it would be nice. Also had a fireplace in the suite. They had a small gift shop, had t shirts on clearance for a great price. The Location

Set back from busy U.S. Route 1 between Camden and Rockport village on Country Way, about 10 minutes from downtown Camden’s harbor and shops, and 10 minutes south to Rockland’s Farnsworth Museum and ferries. Camden Hills State Park is minutes away. The inn is central to the entire Mid-Coast: Lincolnville (20 min north) and Boothbay Harbor (1 hour southwest) are easy day trips.
