"Wow! Spouter Inn was one of the best bed & breakfast inns we've ever visited. Besides the beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms, the common areas were just as cozy. We enjoyed a cup of tea and an afternoon treat (provided by the innkeepers), sitting in one of the living room's plush chairs. The breakfasts were out of this world - homemade granola & yogurt to start, followed by a pastry with fresh fruit, then a wonderful entree with bacon or sausage. Yum! I'm still thinking about the coconut scone and the made from scratch danish. We chose Spouter Inn because it's halfway between Portland and Acadia National Park. And it was wonderful to wake up and see the ocean from our window every morning. Mark and Tracy, our innkeepers, were really lovely, providing us with recommendations for things to do in the area. We will definitely be back some day - this was our first time visiting the area and we loved it."

"Our stay at the Spouter Inn was wonderful! The accommodations were warm, welcoming, and impeccably maintained, I felt relaxed the moment we arrived. The setting is beautiful, with views of the water that can be enjoyed from all areas of the property. Mark and Traci were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding thoughtful touches like fresh-baked cookies in the evening and some of the most delicious breakfasts I’ve had. Downtown Camden was charming with so many fantastic shops and restaurants and a stunning coastline. Our room was so clean and comfortable it was hard to leave, the whole atmosphere of the inn was peaceful and relaxing. If you’re looking for a quiet escape to recharge, this is the perfect place. I truly had a hard time leaving and will definitely be back!"

"I was visiting friends in the area and The Spouter Inn Bed & Breakfast came highly recommended. My two night stay absolutely exceeded all expectations. The innkeepers, Mark and Tracy, pay attention to every detail. I stayed in the Admiral’s Quarters which is a spacious first floor room with a king bed and an in-suite bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower. It’s no exaggeration to say that everything was absolutely spotless. There are thoughtful little touches throughout—The room has a lovely electric fireplace and there’s a tiny magnetic holder embedded in the wall to hold its remote control. There’s even nice, fluffy toilet paper in the bathroom! The attention to detail extends to all aspects of the house; there are beautiful African Violet plants adorning the sunroom/entryway which houses the breakfast tables. And oh, can Tracy bake! On check-in, I could smell her homemade granola baking in the oven for breakfast the next morning and it was heavenly. The three-course breakfast was as equally wonderful as my room. On my first morning I was served a homemade scone aside a bowl with huge fresh raspberries and a scoop or raspberry sorbet. This was followed by some of that homemade granola and then a plate of three fluffy pancakes topped with local blueberries with a pitcher of Maine-made maple syrup on the side. The Spouter Inn B & B came highly recommended by local friends and my next stay will be a highly anticipated event. If you’re traveling during the summer months, be sure to book well ahead; Spouter Inn B & B is popular for good reason."
