What Guests Are Saying

“My wife and I had a fantastic three day stay here. The grounds are immaculate, the accommodations were incredible, and the owners and staff are wonderful. We stayed in the Rachel Carson cottage which looks right into the bay. (My only half-negative comment on the room is that the hot and cold knobs in the bathroom sink are opposite and that took some getting used to). MJ had great recommendations for what we could do in the area and she was not wrong. We would highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast to any couple looking for romantic getaway.” — Frank A., 5 stars

“We love the Inn at Sunrise Point. We having been staying there for years. Matt and MJ are amazing hosts. We always stay in the Rachel Carson. The room is spacious, comfortably furnished, has fresh flowers, and is immaculate. The breakfasts are incredible! Deliciously prepared and elegantly served. There are sweet treats available in the afternoon, also delicious! Their team of ladies are always friendly and helpful. Mary, a lovely lady, and her dog, Frederick, are available during the day to answer questions and help in any way. The grounds are quiet and beautiful and we always feel secure there. To sum it up, The Inn at Sunrise Point is the perfect destination for an amazing vacation!!!” — onehappytraveler_10, 5 stars

“My mom and I had the most unforgettable stay at The Inn at Sunrise Point. Upon our arrival, MJ welcomed us with homemade cookies and a full tour of the breathtaking grounds. Everything about the property is just perfect — the stunning sunrise views, the gorgeous gardens, the charming decor — you can really feel the love and care poured into every detail. The breakfasts were out of this world, and MJ was wonderfully generous with recommendations for nearby restaurants and places to explore. What made our stay truly unforgettable, though, were MJ and Matt themselves. They are incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts who went out of their way to make us and every other guest feel special. Their warmth and hospitality turned a beautiful inn into an experience we will never forget. Our time at Sunrise Point was truly magical, and we cannot wait to come back!” — Dani O., 5 stars

"Our second stay here. Gorgeous setting. Matt and MJ could not be more welcoming or caring. Delicious breakfast with scones and muffins baked inhouse that morning, fruit, and a choice of entrees or the special. (One day: vegetable fritter with poached eggs, herbs, and hollandaise--Wow!) Fresh cookies each afternoon, main house with an honor bar open to guests anytime. Cozy. Close to Camden city, Camden Mountain, and on the way to Acadia. If you like hiking, checks the trails from the Youngtown Road parking lot. Rooms are lovely and are tidied up twice a day."
