What Guests Are Saying

“We spent 3 nights here as part of a 5 week road trip from the Gulf coast to the Gulf of Maine. There aren’t enough stars to give! Such a beautiful place right on the ocean. Such friendly and accommodating people! Millicent, Sarah, and all (for those whose names we don’t remember, forgive us) involved in our stay treated us a very valued guests, were a wealth of information, and each morning provided us with beautiful little breakfast baskets. Each evening a roaring firepit. The cottages are spacious, modern, perfectly temperature controlled, and the beds super comfortable. Our cottage was spotless on arrival, and had everything we needed. Glenmoor is ideally located within 10 minutes of the wonderful restaurants and shopping of Camden and 15 from quiter Belfast. It’s steps from Camden Hills State Park and hiking to the summit of Mt. Battie (which we did). We had our little dog Lilly with us, and truly appreciated the kindness and love the staff showed her. She loved the massive manicured lawns and climbing on the stone walls. We are already making plans for our return. Glenmoor By the Sea made beautiful memories for us, and we will make more in summers to come.” — Elton F., 5 stars

“A two-night stay in a cabin down near the water. Beautiful grounds, great view, clean and comfortable cabin and a very tasty breakfast delivered to your door each morning. Two spotless outdoor pools contributed to the relaxing getaway. This was our favourite spot on our 10 day adventure.” — Mike D., 5 stars

"We stayed the end of September 2025. I was shocked about how reasonable and adorable this place is! Great prices, exceptionally clean, beautiful grounds, and special touches like a basket breakfast in which they inquired at check-in if there were any food allergies and what time we wanted it set at our door. It was included in the price of staying. WOW it was really great and certainly a special touch. It's a pretty walk down to the water and they have a nice staircase and landing. Met the owners at check out and they are the nicest people. If ever we are back in the area we would be sure to stay!"

"This is a gem of a motel! Rooms were large, clean and had balconies with a dining set.Our only gripe is they only provided 2 towels and there were 4 of us, 2 being young teens. I’m sure they would have given us more if we asked but our morning was rushed so we just shared. We walked to the beach and around the cabin/cottage area. This whole property is very nice & thoughtfully planned out. I would definitely stay here again."

"It was a great place to stay. It was a beautiful location right next to the ocean. They served a real nice breakfast every morning in your room with orange juice, coffee, and the food. I also have a heated pool and a regular pool. The staff is always helpful and we really enjoyed staying there."
