Breakwater Inn

"Breakwater Inn was the absolute best place to spend our four year anniversary! The room was perfect with an incredible view overlooking the water. This was by far the coziest place I’ve ever stayed. We could almost melt into the beds. I highly recommend the connected restaurant, The Port Fish & Chop House. We enjoyed the cold lobster roll and the seared scallops. The lady (we can’t remember her name but she had a lovely Irish accent) at the front desk was very helpful by directing us to our room and wished us a happy new year when we were leaving. She was very sweet to us and was so welcoming with our stay in Kennebunkport. We can’t wait to come back to visit again! Sincerely, Cherese & Eric "

"Me and my husband came for a weekend to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We wanted a lazy weekend at a cute inn with great views and this place delivered! I even loved the old school real keys for our door and the room was very clean. The little market across the street was perfect and so convenience for grabbing coffee or snacks and even offered a great view of the river! We also had an amazing dinner at the port fish and chop house. The halibut and stuffed lobster were delicious! Every person working at the Inn and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely be back and can’t wait for our next trip!"

"Would highly recommend a stay at the Breakwater in Kennebunkport. We were in the King Harborview across from the main building where the larger restaurant is located, but the rooms in this building are very cozy and safe. We had a fantastic view of the sunset over the water outside our window! It is in a great location close to Colony Beach and just a one-mile walk or so to downtown/Dock Square. We had a fantastic dinner at the Boathouse and then got food nearby within walking distance. I love that it is away from the busy crowds closer to Dock Square and the Breakwater offers complimentary kayaks and bikes! We were so comfortable, I would have stayed longer."
