“I was here during the off-season on a solo trip up to New England, and read the reviews and thought this would be a very nice place to stay while I explored the local area. I couldn’t have been more happy with my choice. I booked the Harborview King Suite Waterview with Balcony on the third (top) floor) and I arrived late in the afternoon, and was greeted by Rhonda, the Inn’s general manager. She was very gracious, and let me know that there is construction going on in the building since this is the off-season. She did tell me that she has asked the construction crews to start later and stop earlier since my arrival. I did inform her that it wouldn’t be necessary as I was getting up early and exploring the area all day. The room I was in was their nicest room and it overlooked the bay. It was a phenomenal room. The mini fridge could fit multiple bottles of wine on their side, which was nice, and the shower probably had the best pressure of any shower have ever been in. It does have a sitting area with chairs that swivel, and windows that are open if you want to listen to the ocean. There is also a small balcony outside, but I did not partake as the temps were still in the the 30s Fahrenheit. On my second night, I decided to eat at their restaurant next-door, and I couldn’t have been happier not only with the service but the food. It is really top-notch. I had the rigatoni Panna and it was wonderful. The leftovers were my meal the next night after I traveled to Newburyport. It’s a great place, with only a handful of room rooms, but plenty of parking in the back. And Rhonda is absolutely wonderful and we had a really good conversation about random things. I will definitely be coming back, though I’ll have to bring my wife, as she said, she was jealous of my experience here.” — John J., 5 stars

“Characteristic structure, in a beautiful quiet location with a beautiful garden overlooked by a bar and restaurant. Nice and well-kept rooms but perhaps they could use a refresh. Upon arrival we were mistakenly assigned a classic double while we had booked for three adults, but in a short time they arranged and assigned us the room booked, with a living room with sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom. “Awesome Hotel and Service! We came in for the Christmas prelude and the hotel was so convenient to everything in the area while being far enough away that it was also quiet! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and Brian couldn’t have been more helpful. On check-in, Natasha was like a Christmas angel! She made sure everything was taken care of and checked on us on a regular basis throughout our stay I would highly recommend this hotel” — kathi, 5 stars
