"We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely experience. Linda makes great breakfasts and is a caring and lovely host. We plan on going back next year and stay there again. The location is secluded but peaceful. 20 minutes away from Augusta but a few minutes away from the lake."

Of major importance, I am a wheelchair user. Technically, I use a travel scooter -- I was able to move around inside without any difficulty. I have a suspicion that a power chair would be a tight squeeze, but the owners will take measurements and work with you, and in fact they promised us a complete refund if my scooter did not fit. This was a quiet, peaceful spot. We enjoyed walking around the lovely yard and admiring the flower beds. The breakfast room looked out over the gardens in front of the house. The front porch was not wheelchair accessible, but the view from the breakfast room, looking over the porch, was great. The common-area living room was spacious and inviting. They have books, a couple of puzzles, and a couple of games. We were the only guests, so I can't say how things would work out as far as sound transmission from other rooms, but our solo stay was extremely quiet. Linda's triple-berry muffins were to die for! There was plenty of fresh, whole fruit available on the table. Oh, coffee and tea were available in the evening. Wonderful stay! If we are in the market for another overnight in this region, we will inquire here first!"

View on Google"Great little bed and breakfast in a beautiful house located in a very peaceful and quiet area! We had the bedroom on the first floor with the private bathroom and it was immaculate. I wish the private bathroom was in-room as opposed to adjoining, but it is a huge bathroom with a jet powered tub. Breakfast was always ready at 8am and usually consisted of fruit, yogurt, and delicious muffins! It was filling and a great way to begin the day. Linda and Rick are very hospitable and provided us with some great ideas for the day. Rick also has a great woodshop and provides vocational lessons to area high school students. If you want peace and quiet within 30 to 60 minutes of many great Maine attractions, I highly recommend that you book a night or two!"
