“I am not sure I know enough superlatives to adequately describe our stay at Camden Harbour Inn. It is a grand old mansion converted into an inn. It has wonderful harbor views and is a short stroll to downtown shops and restaurants. We spent 3 glorious nights in the New Amsterdam Suite. The suite is quite simply huge with a fireplace in a large sitting room and a separate bedroom (with a king size feather bed) plus a bathroom that is as large as an airplane hanger. The suite has two private porches and large windows that provide excellent views of the mountains and harbor. While the structure is 140+ years old, it has modern and luxurious furnishings. There is a lounge that is filled with jars of old-time candies. If you have a sweet tooth, this space is close to heaven on earth. As impressive as the inn is, it pales in comparison to the staff. They keep the inn spotless and running efficiently. Special shoutouts to Sara, Sam, and Hope. Their attention to detail made it feel as if we were the only guests on the property. “We recently learned that this wonderful property was now affiliated with Hilton Hotels. We had never stayed before and decided to try it out. Upon arrival we we greeted and given an upgrade to a suite and handed a glass of Prosecco. They helped us carry our bags upstairs. Upon entering the room all I can say is wow. The room was so modern and welcoming. 2 fireplaces, a balcony, a soaker jet tub, a sauna, a steam shower. A fridge stocked full of complimentary beverages. A hand written note on the bed with a cute free teddy bear. That night a bag of chocolates with another note was hung on the door as well as a note telling us we could complementarly participate in their Sunday Mother’s Day brunch. We ate at the bar that night and were delighted to see Jake behind the bar. He is always so attentive, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the wonderful brunch and left our place of solace for now. “We had an OUTSTANDING experience at the Camden Harbor Inn. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there for two nights. We stayed in the Curacao room with incredible views of the mountains and the harbor. We were treated to numerous thoughtful, personal touches like complimentary strawberry shortcake in our room, handwritten notes, and more. The hospitality was incredible!
