About The Hotel

From $101/night, this is a 3.9-star Best Western Plus that caters to budget travelers and Mid-Coast day-trippers. The location off Route 1 near Cooks Corner puts Bowdoin College, Maine Street, and Bath all within easy reach. An indoor pool and hot free breakfast are the main draws—repeat guests praise spacious rooms and friendly staff. Housekeeping and upkeep are inconsistent, however. Some rooms show wear (corroded showerheads, noisy AC units), and breakfast items occasionally run out. Request a refreshed, upper-floor end room on arrival and inspect carefully for your best experience.

What Guests Are Saying

“Stayed here two nights when visiting nearby Boothbay Harbor. Got a room on the third floor toward the end of a corridor so it was quiet. Adequate accommodations for our needs. King room was very roomy. Within a hour of the sights we wanted to see. Free breakfast was satisfactory. It was nice that they started breakfast at 6 a.m. so we could get an early start to our day.” — Robin22, 4 stars

“We love this Best Western Bath-Brunswick! It is super affordable, yet nice and clean, comfortable beds and pillows and bedding, has a wonderful indoor pool, and a really good breakfast with many many choices. We come here just to get away for a night or two and use the indoor pool! It just needed to be warmer because it was colder than usual. When we brought it to the attendants attention, he promptly turned the heat up. But it was 8 pm and it takes time for it to heat up. Love this hotel.! We highly recommend it and we will be back!” — Merlim S., 5 stars

“We have family in the area and have stayed here many times, my last 2 reviews weren’t great with complaints from me, this trip was better and improved since last time! They no longer run out of breakfast food and actually got a yogurt machine which was helpful since they always ran out of yogurt…I brought my own pillow so that solved that complaint and when asked daily for towels they were given to me even when I asked for towels at the pool they came within 5 mins, the staff was very pleasant and helpful… Glad to see the reviews are read and improved upon! Thank you!” — Pearl H., 4 stars

"Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was clean and a very good variety and they even had dairy and gluten free options. Hotel was very quiet. Like the hardwood flooors versus carpet in the room the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"We were traveling with dogs. This hotel offers a clean room with direct access from the room to the outdoors for pets. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, breakfast sandwichs, fruit, coffee, juices, pastries. It really exceeded expectations. There is a pool and gym. All at a great price. Highly recommend this property for people with pets."

"Visited for Bowdoin Swim meet with 18 HS swimmers. Staff was professional, courteous and beyond accommodating. Kids were able to start their day right with a warm breakfast at 6:00 AM. Someone call Sarah’s boss. She deserves a raise! Thank you for your kindness!"
