"Beautiful historic hotel. The location is great, we were able to walk to the Casino (although it is a longer walk across a bridge--there is a sidewalk). We enjoyed a wonderful couples massage in the Spa. There is a beautiful Lobby area, where I read a book 1 afternoon by the Fireplace. The Bar is very cozy & relaxing with very friendly staff. There is also plenty of on-site parking, which is convenient. We plan to stay at this Hotel during future visits to Dubuque."

"What a beautiful hotel. Coming in from Minneapolis for a business trip . Our three night stay was great. Great amenities, pool and hot tub was nice. Front desk staff, very knowledgeable and super friendly. Hotel is clean and smells like the beautiful spa downstairs. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and first class bathroom and showers! If I'm in town again, I'll definitely choose here to stay. Thank you."

"This was an outstanding experience. Such a feeling of luxury, and nostalgia. It's a beautiful place, with lots of comfort. Really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace, and relaxing in the hot tub on a chilly evening. Very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Definitely dine at Caroline's on the lower level."
