"This is a beautiful historic house in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. The host was very friendly and also the staff. We enjoyed a peaceful time sitting on the large front porch taking in the view overlooking Dubuque. Breakfasts were very delicious with nice presentation."

Really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace, and relaxing in the hot tub on a chilly evening. Very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Definitely dine at Caroline's on the lower level."

"Lovely historic hotel in the middle of Dubuque. The location is perfect for visiting all that Dubuque has to offer, and is one block the best brewery in town, Dimensional brewing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice too. The room was huge , and we had no issues with noise. Free parking is a bonus."

"Great experience overall. Pool cues had No tips. Coffee machine was out of order most often. Game room was 50% out of order. Maintenance needs work, or don't offer amenities. It's a misrepresentation. I hope this helps. Thanks overall = B-"
