Club Wyndham Shearwater

4.7·200 Google reviews

"The best view ever of the ocean. No air conditioning, but don't need it. No elevators. Rooms are good and beds are good. Presidential suite has lots of stairs to get to it, but the view is stupendous."

"We are presently staying at Shearwater resort. Our room is immaculate and well-appointed. The view from our deck is amazing and we are on the ground floor. There are three floors but there are no elevators. They're also are no air conditioners, but ceiling fans are located in each room."

The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas

"Loved relaxing in all the space of a double room with family. Two washers and dryers, kitchen and kitchenette. Daily housekeeping was great. Staff were lovely particularly at the towel hut (even if she likes the 49ers) Discount card from the hotel concierge saved on groceries and snorkel gear. Overall a great stay."

Club Wyndham Ka Eo Kai

4.2·783 Google reviews

"Stayed for a week in a studio room. Great place for a home base. Never saw the pool since I was at the north shore beaches most days. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean the "kitchen" was adequate for making light meals if you want to save some money."

— Renee Carr, 4 months ago · 4/5

"Pretty great place to stay. The only thing g to be aware of is these don't have AC. All doors and windows open for a cross draft style cooling effect. I was worried, but we have thoroughly enjoyed it even at night getting to sleep."

Tub types, explained

What's the difference between a jacuzzi, whirlpool, and soaking tub?

Jacuzzi

Technically a brand name, but used generically for any jetted tub. In hotel listings, "jacuzzi suite" almost always means a private in-room tub with built-in air or water jets. Heat is usually preset; jets are user-controlled.

Whirlpool

Functionally identical to a jacuzzi — water jets circulate heated water for a massage effect. The term is more common at Marriott, Hilton, and Wyndham brands. Most "whirlpool suites" hold two adults comfortably.

Soaking tub

Deeper than a standard bathtub, usually 18–22 inches, but with no jets. Common in boutique and luxury hotels — quieter, more spa-like, and better for a long hot soak than the jet-driven hum of a jacuzzi.

Hot tub

In strict use, a standalone heated tub holding 100°F+ water. In hotel marketing, often used interchangeably with jacuzzi or whirlpool. A genuine in-room "hot tub" with full thermostat control is rare outside cabin-style resorts.

Every listing on this page specifies which type you'll find in the room. We list only properties with the tub in your room — not in a shared pool area or the lobby spa.

Why trust us

Hand-verified. No AI filler.

Every hotel on this page has been personally verified to have a private, in-room hot tub or jacuzzi — not a shared pool tub, not a bathroom soaker, not a spa amenity you have to book. We cross-check three sources for every listing: the hotel's own room photos and descriptions, recent guest reviews on TripAdvisor and Google, and direct confirmation from the hotel where unclear. We don't take payment for placement, and we don't generate listings with AI. If a hotel's tub status changes or a property closes, the page updates the next time we re-verify the city (Dothan was last checked this year).
