"We absolutely loved this place! However, we made the mistake of booking at a different resort just a quarter of a mile away but decided to forfeit last day there, and come to this resort! We are soooo happy we did! Getting the reservation was easy, not intimidating like the "other place"! They were super responsive and check in was a breeze!!!! We had an issue ordering wood for our fireplace (husband) but Danielle(?) at front desk was so sweet and remedied for us! Again I only wished we had reserved this place for our whole stay but now we know and will definitely be coming back here! The unit was amazing! Had its own private hot tub AND jetted tub and two fireplaces! Check out was the easiest ever! Thank you for making our last day here amazing!"

"A very well designed Alpine style resort, with various cottages to match, great furnishings, decor, and art work. This architect and design team did and amazing job! High ceilings, large windows and interior doorways. Very well stocked kitchenette. The bedding and towels were soft, cool and stacked. The cleaning staff kept everything clean at a professional level. The management provided great communication, and assisted in addressing my adjustments. I would anticipate adding a couple day to your stay, there is a lot to see and do and you’ll want to get back to your cabin to relax at the end of the day to sit in front of your fireplace or soak in the hot tub."

"We had NO idea about this hidden gem! The pictures online definitely match the description, however, seeing it in person, well exceeded our expectations! The evening front desk lady was so nice and amazing. The property is clean and well-maintained. They are building another lodge that will have a heated infinity pool that looks to be so much fun; better quality and cost than the Gaylord! Will definitely return with our family. Husband and I stayed in the Ponderosa and we would HIGHLY recommend!"
