About The Hotel
If you’re hunting for a hot tub getaway in Fairbanks, this spot has some mixed reviews. The in-room Jacuzzi is the main attraction here, offering a warm retreat after exploring Alaska’s chilly landscape. Each suite comes with a private whirlpool that can help soothe tired muscles from winter adventures or summer hiking.
The hotel sits at #26 out of 35 specialty lodgings in Fairbanks, with a low 1.7 rating on TripAdvisor. While that sounds rough, some travelers still appreciate the basic amenities like free parking, wifi, and the ability to bring pets. The kitchenette and self-serve laundry are bonus features for longer stays.
Your hot tub experience might be hit or miss. The in-room Jacuzzi is clean but not luxurious. It’s more functional than fancy - perfect for travelers who want a simple soak without extra frills. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense place to relax with your own private tub after a day of Alaska exploration, this could work. Just don’t expect five-star treatment, and you’ll be fine.

"This place is the best great friendly homestyle/hostel style environment. It’s an old monastery everyone’s very forthcoming. Cannot recommend this place more. There’s no other place. I’ll stay in Fairbanks period."

View on Google"I had an extended stay here from early October - mid-November 2022. Overall, my experience here was good and I would definitely stay here again. Although the location is further from Fort Wainwright than most of the other hotels, it is one of the few places with full kitchen and stove that is actually affordable. The rooms are very nice and well-supplied with everything you need to cook your own meals. This is an added bonus since most of the restaurants, including fast food are much more expensive than what you find in the lower 48. Leisha and the cleaning staff are super-helpful and provided countless items for me whether it was extra clothes hangers, light bulbs, and additional kitchen items upon request."
