"If you’re heading to the Afton area with a snowmobile trailer in tow and a questionable plan to punish your body all day in the backcountry, Kodiak Mountain Resort is the place to stay. The cabins are absolutely spectacular clean, cozy, and exactly what you want after a full day of hardcore riding, crashing, laughing it off, and pretending you didn’t just rag doll down a drift. The gas fireplace is a huge win, especially when your joints are filing a formal complaint. And the tub? Elite. Perfect for soaking away the bruises while replaying the day’s bad decisions in your head. Trailer parking? Tons of it. Zero stress. No awkward maneuvering or late night Tetris. If you’re snowmobiling anywhere near Afton, this is hands down the go to spot for lodging. And then there’s breakfast. The omelets were spectacular, like “consider staying an extra night just for breakfast” spectacular. Fuel for another full day of throttle therapy. The staff deserves a shout-out too super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. The kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been coming here for years, even if it’s your first visit. In short: amazing cabins, great food, perfect setup for snowmobilers, and a hot tub that understands your pain. We’ll absolutely be back… hopefully with fewer bruises next time."

"I would highly recommend staying here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The cabins were beautiful, clean and had every amenity we wanted. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace just relaxing. The breakfast had so many options and was super yummy too."

"My family and I stayed in one of the Double Queen Cabins in early August while attending the Lincoln County Fair in Afton. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable. It was clean and fresh smelling. The bathroom and shower were amazing with double shower heads!! I appreciated all of the attention to detail that was given inside and outside the cabin. Each crack in the logs were filled with putty and the logs were meticulously cut to fit. I loved the fireplace (hearth and mantle) and imagined staying in that cabin in the winter with a fire going in the fireplace. My family and I especially appreciated the free breakfast on the two mornings that we were there that was served in the main lodge. They had pretty much everything you can think of for breakfast. The omelets were to die for; fixed just to your liking. They had hot and cold cereal, pastries, yogurt, waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, juice, hot chocolate, milk, silk, muffins. Tons of choices, if you went away hungry it was you own fault. This was my first time staying at Kodiak Mountain Resort and I LOVED IT!!! If you are looking for an affordable, awesome and amazing place to stay in Afton, Wyoming, look no further."
