About The Hotel
Tucked away in Alexandria, this Holiday Inn Express has a secret weapon for travelers seeking pure relaxation: in-room hot tubs. Not every suite comes with this luxury, so when you book, specifically request a whirlpool room. The tubs are perfect for unwinding after a long day of driving or exploring Minnesota’s scenic Alexandria area.
Guests really like this hotel, ranking it #10 out of 49 in Alexandria with a solid 4.4 rating on TripAdvisor. The in-room hot tubs are a major reason why. Imagine soaking in warm bubbling water after checking out local attractions like the Legacy of the Lakes Museum or Carlos Creek Winery. Each hot tub room offers enough space to stretch out and truly relax.
The hotel doesn’t just offer great tubs. Free parking, pet-friendly rooms, and free internet make it a convenient stop. Families will appreciate the kids’ activities, and business travelers can enjoy the wifi and work-friendly suites. But let’s be honest - the hot tub is the real star here. If you want a private, comfortable spot to soak and unwind, this Holiday Inn Express delivers exactly what you need.

What guests are saying about Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alexandria Fort:
"We booked through third party website. Still got a good deal. The room was well furnished. Quite a big room compared to the cost. It included microwave, freeze, and all other facilities. They also offered complementary breakfast with good selection of items. Those were delicious as well. They charge for parking and it was $10 per night."

The jetted tub though, unless im loosing it (possible), could not figure out how to adjust the water temperature. Wanted to get in so bad and was super hot. Then when we began to use the tub, a strange water leak developed from the ceiling. Very weird. It was clean water i knew it wasnt sewage. The shower was good and bathroom was nice too. Ill stay here again, perhaps save the few dollars on skip the tub."
