"I had a reservation to stay here but the event I was coming for was cancelled due to the forecasted inclement weather 3 days later. I purchased travel protection through hotels.com but not through the hotel. Hotels.com contacted the front desk of the hotel and talked to Miguel. He graciously gave me a full refund. I really appreciate it and will make sure that anytime I go through Abilene I will stay there just because of this extra customer service. Thank you again!"

"I called to make reservations for my parents who were on the road from Arkansas. They were leaving the hospital and unsure if they would be able to drive until sundown. I told the staff when making the reservation there may be a chance they would have to cancel last minute due to my dad’s medical condition. The staff went WAY above and beyond and searched for a room in the quietest location and was handicap accessible. Unfortunately I had to cancel last minute because they had a terrible medicine reaction. They had to proceed to another town to get medical assistance. Your staff was kind and didn’t ask questions. Even though it was past the time to cancel, thank you for respecting your guest! I wish I had both the sweet lady’s name who made my reservation and the kind gentleman who assisted me in canceling. You both put this daughter’s heart at ease during this trying time! Awesome job Hampton!!!"
