"May I give service a 10 on a scale of 5? This was by far our best experience service-wise in all the B and B's we have ever stayed in. Warm and helpful without being overbearing. Friendly without being chummy. The entire staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The rooms are small but we knew that going in. Very comfortable bed and private well-appointed bathroom made up for the size. We were lucky enough to also have a sweet little balcony off our room. The amenities go far beyond our previous B and B experiences. Bottomless homemade chocolate chip cookies. Keuring service with huge variety of flavors. A hearty enough breakfast (and delicious to boot) to make lunch unneccessary. Wine/beer and cheese every afternoon. (All included in the affordable rates.) Location close enough to downtown to walk. A gem, not to be missed."

"Pettigru is a delightful B & B. It's on a quiet street a short walk away from restaurants and the Falls. The rooms vary in size but all have individual updated bathrooms. Ours had a lovely, outside balcony with plenty of room to relax. There is a lovely garden in the front yard that offers more outdoor seating. Parking is included, a plus considering.that many hotels in the downtown area charge for parking. Their rates are more reasonable. The gourmet breakfast served every morning is unique, delicious and substantial. The staff is super friendly! You can't beat the cleanliness and attention to detail!"

"This is the second year in a row we have visited for Christmas. The breakfast is absolutely delicious every time! The rooms have a cozy vibe and comfortable atmosphere. Excellent location close to all the events and shopping in Greenville. The owner is amazing and so friendly. Definitely check this place out if you enjoy historic homes and an excellent breakfast!"
