Wentworth Mansion

"What a wonderful place! The staff at the mansion were incredibly warm and friendly and provided some of the best service I’ve ever received! Unfortunately, I did not catch everyone’s names but big thank yous to Will, Kevin, and Bryan. The mansion itself is beautiful and our charming room had not one but two lovely fireplaces. Finally, the breakfast was excellent, please do not sleep on the shrimp and grits! If you’re visiting Charleston, there is no better place to stay … my only regret is not staying longer!"

"Has a wonderful weekend at the Wentworth Mansion. The breakfast is a step above what a complimentary breakfast would seem. Shrimp and grits or a host of other choices on a menu. There was a wine and appetizer happy hour in the sunroom that was also fun. The hotel is exquisite and you can roam around and try to imagine what it was like back when a large family resided in it. We also had dinner at its restaurant. It was fun and delicious as well. The location is perfect for walking around and they have parking!"

The highlight of each morning was the incredible breakfast—elegantly prepared and absolutely delicious, with a range of options that catered to every craving. And the view? Hands down the best in Charleston. Whether enjoying a quiet moment on the rooftop cupola or relaxing in the beautifully maintained common areas, the charm and history of the city were always in sight. Every detail, from the luxurious rooms to the impeccable service, made this stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend the Wentworth Mansion highly enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!"
