"To start we booked this hotel as a last minute replacement for the hotel that we walked out of after being in for 20 minutes. And I will say what an improvement it was. We have seen this one on choice hotels for downtown Charleston and always planned on staying at some point in the future. Didn't realize it would come as fast at it did. For starters this property is right next to market st, so right in the area for shops, restaurants and tours; a huge plus. We get to park in the parking garage on the corner of church st with a parking pass provided by the hotel. Though the hotel didn't offer breakfast that didn't bother us. They did have free coffee in the morning and it was excellent. The rooms come with a kitchen and that helps on the travel expenses to be able to make food on site. For the location and price its one of the best places to stay. My wife and I will definitely be back in the future for a long stay for sure. As a bonus my wife loved the jacuzzi tub in our room."

"The hotel is older but so lovely. Rooms are so much fun. They are two floors with a full kitchen and living room and powder room. Upstairs is the master suite. People who work there are so courteous and friendly. It is a fantastic location for seeing historic Charleston. We have had a lovely stay. Since it is older some things are a bit dated such as bathroom tiles and such, but honestly doesn't matter because it is so convenient and lovely."
