What guests are saying about Wheeler on the Bay Lodge:
"This place was really, truly so great. I can’t say enough positive things; I don’t have one complaint and I’m a tough crowd because I really like my comfort and cleanliness to be top tier. It had all the comforts of home and more. The owners, Martha & Gordon were hospitable, friendly and have thought of everything. It was a pleasure staying there. The room was super clean, had high quality linens, towels and bath mats. Even the decor was well thought out: neat, classy art. You get breakfast when you check in so it’s not a cattle-call like other places. Tons of offerings for breakfast/snacks. A huge movie library, kayaks to use, sweet little dock. Affordable and very nice. I will definitely be back. This place rocks. Book your stay now before it sells out."

Owners were very friendly and made accommodations for my friend as well. Decent selection of continental breakfast items that you can take to your room."

View on Google"We were looking for a place to stay near the Oregon Coast and in our search stumbled upon Wheeler on the Bay. We stayed in Room 7 and it was very clean and cozy with a comfortable bed. We enjoyed morning coffees and watching the sunset on the deck- and as two people from Ohio we were overjoyed watching the otters swim in the bay and seeing pelicans and herons hunting for their supper. We appreciated the breakfast items and extra snacks/popcorn and loved the nostalgia of the dvd library as it made us feel like kids again going to Blockbuster. We got a chance to talk to the owner on a few occasions and he made us feel right at home. It seems like many places charge more and give you less but wheeler on the bay doesn’t subscribe to that. The location was great for everything we wanted to see and do and we truly felt like we had found a hidden gem!"
