What guests are saying about Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland:
"My partner and I found ourselves at Kimpton Hotel Vintage on a quiet Sunday in the middle of November, essentially on a staycation. The hotel has what I would describe as an "old Portland vibe," lying somewhere between luxury and hip. It is situated in a somewhat central part of downtown Portland, giving access to pretty much everything downtown has to offer, be it shopping, dining, or various local attractions. It is also pet-friendly, something worth considering for pet owners and those with allergies alike. We were well cared for by the attending evening staff: Whitnie during check-in; KC, who valeted our vehicle; and Bradley at the Bacchus bar, where we had dinner and drinks. Our room was sizable and comfortable, and it wasn't even the nicest that the hotel has to offer. It was, however, a little chilly -- something that could be remedied by the in-room thermostat. Our dinner and drinks were perfectly portioned and delicious, and we would consider visiting the bar again just for the food alone. (I really want to try the french fries, which I heard good things about.) We would definitely consider staying overnight again, in the future. Hopefully, our next visit will be in celebration of something, and not due to necessity of having a broken water heater at home and wanting to take a hot shower in a nice place. As we are currently here, I will update this review to include other pertinent information, including the names of staff who will presumably be caring for us tomorrow morning and during check-out."

Furnishings were old and there was evidence of a water leak sometime in the past. The water pressure in the shower was not great and the temperature of the water was not extremely warm. The service was great from the staff, check in was a breeze and valeting my vehicle was not a problem. They even had it pulled up and ready to go when we checked out. We did ask for a late check out and the desk accommodated this no problem. The location was nice for us. We were able to walk around down town and enjoy Portland. Great restaurants close by. We did not use many of the amenities besides the game room to play pool for a bit."

View on Google"Good experience. Good downtown location. Good good and drinks. They have every day wine tasting hour (included). The only reason I did not put 5 stars was the rooms that did not really isolate the sound well from the outside, so my kids were waking up overnight (granted we stayed over the weekend, the room was looking at the street and 3 floor, and it's is a vibrant part of downtown)"
