What guests are saying about The Mayo Hotel:
"The Mayo Hotel is a stunning historic gem and a true Tulsa landmark. You can feel the history the moment you walk in—this hotel has hosted icons like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, and JFK, and was once a gathering place for Tulsa’s oil barons during the city’s boom years. The craftsmanship and restoration are beautifully done, honoring its past while feeling elegant and comfortable. A must-do during your stay is stopping by the café. It has great little snacks, and we loved taking them back to our room to enjoy while watching a movie—simple, cozy, and perfect after a day out. Bill, at the cafe, truly made our stay exceptional. He shared fascinating stories about the hotel’s history, including how it was saved from demolition and lovingly restored. He also gave fantastic local recommendations, like Taste of Poland—a fabulous little café with excellent food—and highlighted must-see spots such as The Gathering Place. If you appreciate history, character, and outstanding hospitality, the Mayo Hotel is an absolute must-stay."
