About The Hotel

Las Vegas travelers looking for in-room relaxation will find some sweet relief here. The hot tubs inside select suites are a real highlight, offering a private bubble zone after long days of walking the Strip. Not every room has a Jacuzzi, so you’ll want to specifically request one when booking.

Guests really like this place, sitting at #104 out of 292 Vegas hotels with a solid 3.7 rating on TripAdvisor. The resort offers more than just a hot tub - you’ve got a massive pool complex, casino, and plenty of dining options. But for hot tub lovers, the in-room whirlpools are the star attraction.

The suites with hot tubs provide a perfect wind-down spot after gambling or shows. Imagine soaking away the day’s stress, with Las Vegas lights twinkling outside your window. Pro tip: Book a higher floor for better views while you’re bubbling away. While not the absolute top luxury spot in town, Mandalay Bay delivers a reliable hot tub experience that won’t break the bank.

"If you are looking for a resort that balances the high-energy excitement of Las Vegas with a slightly more relaxed, upscale atmosphere, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino remains a top-tier choice. Located at the southern tip of the Strip, it offers a sense of space and tropical luxury that is often missing from the more crowded mid-Strip properties. Cleanliness and Comfort From the moment we entered our room, we were impressed by the standards of maintenance. The rooms are notably clean and well-appointed, featuring modern furnishings and a bright, airy aesthetic that complements the resort’s beach theme. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided a stunning view, and the linens felt fresh and high-quality, making for a very comfortable home base between excursions. The Marriott Bonvoy Advantage One of the highlights of our stay was the seamless integration with the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program. Because of this partnership, we were able to utilize the priority check-in line. Anyone who has visited Vegas during a peak weekend knows that the standard check-in lines can be daunting; bypassing the wait felt like a true VIP perk and allowed us to start our vacation significantly faster. Connectivity and Location While Mandalay Bay is a bit further down the Boulevard, the resort makes it incredibly easy to explore. The free tram to Excalibur was a lifesaver—it’s quick, runs frequently, and drops you right at a central hub where you can easily walk to New York-New York or Luxor. It essentially erases the "distance" factor, giving you the best of both worlds: a quiet, clean room and easy access to the heart of the action. Whether you're there for the legendary wave pool or a convention, Mandalay Bay delivers a polished experience that feels both professional and fun."

"We stayed at the Mandalay Bay for about a week. Our room was clean and spacious with a large bathroom, hot tub and two large closets. The floor to ceiling windows give a great view of the strip. The annoying part was not having a microwave in the room and no refrigerator either. There was a fridge, but it was already full of items for purchase with a motion sensor, so we basically could not touch it or keep our own items. We could also hear some noise from nearby rooms, though it wasn't excessive. I would recommend planning ahead and preparing the MGM rewards app for a mobile check in prior to arrival to avoid the long lines for check in. Also use the digital options for check out like the in room TV or app. The location is not great since Mandalay is at the end of the strip, but it is very close to the airport. With the tram to Excalibur and Luxor and pedestrian bridges, it wasn't a hassle to get around. We did not get a rental car and just used Uber for longer distances. What I liked most were the dining options. We stuck to the cheapest ($) options which are still around $25-$35 per person, but they were all great and we did not have to repeat a restaurant for dinner during our week long stay. Ri Ra Irish pub, Noodle shop, Hussong's cantina were standouts among the already great options."

"A good hotel. One of the most consistent on the strip. Great for bouncing around. Can cost a couple more dollars in Uber / Lyft because at the end of the strip. Great sportsbook for watching a game. Good, if not expensive, restaurants. Rooms are above average for the price. During pool season it is great. One of the better pool scenes."
