"Really liked first floor room for my service šŸ•ā€šŸ¦ŗ . Friendly staff. A bit of a tight squeeze in bathroom but workable. Had to put towel down at foot of hall door to cut down on light and slight noise. Overall looking forward to returning next year on way home from CA. to Chicago"

"Do not stay here if you don’t want a cheap decent place to stay. Not sure what people are expecting staying at a hotel that’s $60 a night. If you have IGH, Marriott or Hilton expectations on a $60 hotel…. May want to reconsider your life choices. First, staff members were all incredibly nice and friendly! If you’re scared of thick accents, get over yourself. Second, I only had two complaints about the room.. the AC didn’t work and it was 100 degrees outside. That sucked, I talked to them, the front desk guy came to look. He didn’t know anything about the units…. Poor guy turned it from AC to fan and thought it was cooling…… I kinda explained to him a little bit and shortly after, he brought me keys to a room across the hall. Perfect. A room with a working AC! I quickly moved my stuff over and enjoyed the rest of my night. The bed was harder than my preference. But you’re at a hotel, you don’t get to pick the mattress. I’ve stayed at expensive hotels with rock hard mattresses….. pillows were nice. Sheets were extremely clean. The couch was even surprisingly clean. I usually don’t touch hotel couches with a 5ft pole. The fact an econo lodge has a couch in the room that’s clean. Amazing! The room itself was clean except for some of the corners and parts of stuff showing the buildings age…. It was very quiet! I didn’t hear shit through walls. Doors suck though. And you have access from outside and hallway on the first floor. My second complaint, the floors in my second room could be cleaned better….. I will admit it. But it wasn’t a deal breaker. Had I been staying more than one night, I would have asked them to clean the floors while I was at work. And I’m sure they would have! Breakfast is breakfast for a $60 hotel. Get over it. Go to a high class hotel and pay for it at their restaurant instead. They serve cereal, yogurt, bread (I didn’t see what bread products they use, and a toaster) juice, and little hostes cinnamon buns. If you don’t like it, don’t eat it. Overall, for $60 a night, this hotel met my standards. When it comes to econo lodge, i actually have higher standards for them than any other budget hotel. I normally stay at comfort or Radison brands through choice. I don’t know what it is about Econo, but they 90% of the time hit the nail for being reliable cheap comfortable and clean. There has been maybe 2 that I will not go back too. 10/10, I’d come back to this one."

"The room was clean aside from the couch being a bit stained with some interesting combos of things. Staff were quite friendly. The continental breakfast on trips are always a god sent. I recommend if you need a quick bed for the night."
