Good Medicine Lodge

"Truly wonderful experience staying at Good Medicine Lodge! My husband, mom, and I spent 5 nights and are already thinking about when we can go back. It felt like we were staying with family, feeling cared for and having all the comforts of home at our fingertips. The staff was incredibly kind, going out of their way to ask how our day was and offer recommendations. Special shout out to Shayla who went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. The lodge itself is beautiful, immaculately clean, and cozy. My husband and I stayed in the Huckleberry Suite which was perfect for the two of us. We loved using the gas stove in our room and the heated tiles in the bathroom. The balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee while I watched the sunrise. As for the food - WOW! Breakfast each morning was delicious while being healthy and fulfilling. We appreciated the complimentary snacks, they were especially helpful when heading out for a long day of sightseeing and hiking. The afternoon sweet treats were a hit, our favorite was the honey brown butter cookies! Everything we ate was made with love and high quality ingredients. Thank you for an incredible trip! We can't wait to come back!"

"My husband and I only got to stay for 1 night at Good Medicine Lodge and we were sad to have to leave! Our room (Beargrass) was clean and comfortable, and had many convenient amenities such as lovely shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We enjoyed the balcony with rocking chairs as well. The lodge itself had so many helpful details - complimentary snacks and drinks, hiking supplies (bear spray, hiking poles, sunscreen, maps for GNP, etc.), books and games, and more. We didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor fire pit and hot tub but they were available, and the common areas were very cozy. The breakfast was delicious and Shayla was an attentive and friendly innkeeper. Communication with the owner Derek was also easy, and he accommodated a change in dates for us with no issues. The location was convenient to downtown Whitefish and GNP. Overall I can’t say enough good things about Good Medicine Lodge - we hope to come back and definitely recommend it to others!"

"My wife and I rented out the whole lodge for our wedding this year. The value we got from this experience will last a lifetime. All of our guests were cozy and having everyone in a central spot made everything work smoothly. Shayla is the manager of the lodge and she was looking out for us the whole time. Breakfast was spectacular and she even hosted a dinner for us one of the nights. If you are looking for a smaller destination wedding, we would highly recommend good medicine lodge for your stay."
